  4. goal

GOAL: Barnsley 1-2 Bristol Citypublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Tyreeq Bakinson (51 mins)

    What a turnaround at Oakwell!

Two goals in the space of four minutes for Bristol City have them ahead.

This one is going down as a goal to Tyreeq Bakinson after once again Nahki Wells had a shot saved, but the final touch may well have come off a Barnsley player to take it past Jack Walton's dive.

    Rotherham 1-0 Norwich

Rotherham are wondering how they haven't doubled their lead.

Clark Robertson's cross causes a goalmouth scramble in the Norwich six-yard box and somehow Freddie Ladapo hasn't put the ball in the net.

The Millers striker could've had a hat-trick already.

  6. goal

    Barry Bannan (49 mins pen)

  8. goal

GOAL: Barnsley 1-1 Bristol Citypublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Jack Hunt (47 mins)

Bristol City level early on in the second half at Oakwell.

Its Jack Hunt who rifles it home right-footed from the edge of the penalty area but the initial break came when Nahki Wells was through on goal.

Jack Walton managed to save both his and Chris Martin's efforts, but the ball broke nicely to Hunt in space with a well-drilled equaliser.

  9. goal

GOAL: Brentford 1-0 Coventrypublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Ivan Toney (46 mins)

And an instant goal for Brentford too!

Bryan Mbeumo cuts onto his left and curls a shot towards goal which Bees forward Ivan Toney pokes beyond the Coventry keeper.

Ollie Watkins' boots are going to be difficult to fill. Toney though looks at home in West London.

Can Bristol City or Reading do something to maintain their 100% starts in the Championship? Will Wycombe or Nottingham Forest get off the mark?

We can hope for more goals across the board at the very least.

    Swansea 1-1 Huddersfield

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Swansea needed only 10 minutes to equalise here having gone behind against the run of play.

The leveller was a penalty from Andre Ayew, who is making his 100th Swansea appearance today across two spells at the club.

The spot-kick was the Ghana captain's 32nd Swans goal.

He was a key man for Steve Cooper last season and it looks like he will be again this term now the transfer window has closed.

    Barnsley 1-0 Bristol City

Close for Bristol City as they keep pushing for an equaliser at Oakwell.

Nahki Wells should have done better when the ball fell to him in the Barnsley area, but his first touch lets him down and as the space is crowded around him, his side-foot towards goal is cleared off the line easily.
