    Rotherham 1-0 Norwich

It's the home side's turn to go close.

Wes Harding beats Marco Stiepermann and picks out Mickel Miller in the box but the forward puts the ball over.

This has been an exciting one.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Reading

Chance goes begging for Reading from a free-kick as the ball finds its way to an unmarked Josh Laurent at the back post, but he fails to hit the target from 12 yards out.

Harrogate are now a goal to the good against Barrow thanks to Jack Muldoon's fourth goal of the season.

Bolton have just equalised against Oldham, Forest Green are in front against Stevenage and Newport are 1-0 up against Tranmere.

Cambridge United are also ahead at Scunthorpe.

Carlisle have gone 2-0 up against previously unbeaten Colchester, while early League Two leaders Morecambe are being held at Crawley.

It's also goalless between Port Vale and Salford who are being led by interim boss Paul Scholes.

  4. goal

GOAL: Swansea 1-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Andre Ayew (33 mins)

Swansea level up from the spot.

Andre Ayew makes no mistake on his 100th Swans appearance.

The hosts deserve that equaliser on the balance of play. But whether it was a penalty, I'm not convinced.

I think the ball was out of play when Hamer made connection with Smith.

  5. League One latestpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

Still not a lot to tell you about in the 11 fixtures that kicked-off after MK Dons' earlier victory against Gillingham.

Malik Wilks has put Hull City ahead at Rochdale, but all the other 10 matches are still goalless.

  6. PENALTY to Swanseapublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Swansea 0-1 Huddersfield

Ooof, strange one this. Andre Ayew whips in a brilliant cross that Korey Smith volleys over.

Just as he was taking his shot though, Huddersfield keeper Ben Hamer stuck out a leg which tripped the forward.

The referee points to the spot.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:32 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Rotherham 1-0 Norwich

Rotherham may have had a penalty to go 2-0 up but otherwise Norwich are knocking on the door.

Jamal Blackman is having a great game in goal - this time he's equal to a powerful strike from Norwich striker Adam Idah.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:32 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Birmingham 0-0 Sheff Wed

    Should be 1-0 Wednesday.

Full-back Moses Odubajo delivers a great cross and Callum Paterson heads wide when unmarked in the penalty area.

Earlier the Owls' Josh Windass clipped the crossbar from a powerful free-kick.

Birmingham look all over the place defensively.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Reading

Still little of note in this match after half an hour in terms of chances.

But Marcus Bettinelli does well to block a Michael Olise shot for Reading. Lucas Joao just unable to poke the ball home on the rebound.

  10. 'We have been doing it all week'published at 15:31 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Swansea 0-1 Huddersfield

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Swansea head coach Steve Cooper was fairly busy on the phone yesterday, what with four new faces arriving on deadline day as Joe Rodon left for Spurs.

But there was still time for some work on the training ground, as he just reminded skipper Matt Grimes after he picked the wrong pass.

"What you doing? We have been doing it all week," grumbled the Swansea boss.

Opposite number Carlos Corberan has been even noisier on the touchline, with repeated reminders to his players of where they should be on the pitch and when they should press.

The Huddersfield boss is the happier for now, having seen his team take the lead with their first effort of the game.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Wycombe 1-0 Millwall

Have Wycombe got away with one there?

Joe Jacobsen's header back to his keeper is short and Tom Bradshaw nips in before going down after a coming together in the box.

Millwall want a penalty but the referee isn't interested. Murray Wallace has also forced a decent save from Chairboys goalie Ryan Allsop.

  12. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Bournemouth 0-0 QPR

QPR go close once again to breaking the deadlock at Dean Court.

Macauley Bonne with an effort that Asmir Begovic does well to block with his feet as initially he looked to have dived the wrong way when the striker was played in clear on goal.

  13. goal

GOAL: Swansea 0-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Harry Toffolo (23 mins)

That's football! First time Huddersfield have been in Swansea's half and the visitors sneak in the jammiest of all jammy goals.

A short corner routine and Juninho Bacuna has a tame shot into a crowded penalty area which Harry Toffolo flicks in.

    Poor defending.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Blackburn 0-0 Nottm Forest

Forest almost take a fortuitous lead at Ewood Park.

Cyrus Christie's cross is tipped onto the bar by Blackburn goalie Thomas Kaminski - I'm sure Chris Hughton would settle for any kind of goal to get his reign off to a positive start.

Bristol City trying to mount a comeback after falling behind early on at Oakwell.

Chris Martin goes close with an headed effort narrowly wide.

  16. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Brentford 0-0 Coventry

Brentford's new look front three are settling in after goal machines Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma left during the summer window.

Bryan Mbeumo, Ivan Toney and Sergi Canos are leading the line today but it's defender Pontus Jansson who's gone the closest for the Bees.

The former Leeds man sees his close-range header palmed away by Coventry keeper Marko Marosi.

  17. MISSED PENALTY (Rotherham)published at 15:23 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Rotherham 1-0 Norwich

Penalty-saving hero Tim Krul is at it again!

Freddie Ladapo steps up for Rotherham in search of his second of the afternoon but is denied by the strong left arm of the Norwich keeper, which parries the ball clear.

Mansfield's miserable start to the season is continuing - they're 2-0 down at home to Bradford already and facing a sixth game without victory.

Salford, under the stewardship of Paul Scholes, are goalless with Port Vale, while it's also scoreless between Harrogate and Barrow. It's Harrogate's first game back at Wetherby Road after the artificial pitch had to be relaid.

Elsewhere, Carlisle lead Colchester and Southend trail at home to Cheltenham.

  19. PENALTY (Rotherham)published at 15:21 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

    Rotherham 1-0 Norwich

Clark Robertson is brought down in the box and Rotherham are awarded a penalty.

It's a typical striker's challenge from Adam Idah that is Norwich's undoing.

  20. League One latestpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 17 October 2020

Well, other than telling you that MK Dons picked up a first win of the season in the afternoon's early kick-off, beating Gillingham 2-0, there's nothing else to tell you goals-wise.

All 11 fixtures that kicked-off at 15:00 BST are still goalless!
