Son was in pain after that challenge but he's going to be OK. Might be worth giving him a rest though. Spurs are just strolling this, no United player getting within 10 yards of the ball.

Bizarre: Even if United sacked Ole, the biggest problem still remains in that Ed Woodward, Matt Judge & the Glazers do not care about Manchester United football club, only Manchester United as a business.

Colin B: Five goals conceded and De Gea hasn't even been mentioned, that's how bad they've been.

Serge Aurier is even defending well now, cutting out a rare United attack. Eric Bailly is booked for a hack on Son.

United have to learn that just being Manchester United isn't going to win you anything. Without proper planning, competent coaching and management Manchester United is just a name.

    True story.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has had an excellent game. I wasn't 100% sure what he would bring to that Spurs midfield but he's been exceptional. Bossed it.

What Utd Need: Hungry, eager players who want to improve themselves and the club. What United Will Get: Players signed for potential marketing opportunities, both domestic and foreign, coupled with how many followers they have on the 'Gram and Twitter.

Still half an hour left. It feels a very long time since United took the lead!

United have been a shambles. Full backs are important, Sergio Reguilon was involved in the goal and Serge Aurier with the finish.

Luke Shaw can't defend, he's not very good going forward. Aaron Wan Bissaka is a better defender but is poor in the final third. When you've got two centre halves who can't defend, as a unit, even though they did well towards the end of last season, it's there for all to see.

Time to bring Kane and Son off, need to rest them up for the real challenges ahead like West Ham and LASK...

Son does well on the left again to tee up Tanguy Ndombele and his shot whizzes over the bar. Dele Alli is warming up, why not? Get him on for a hat-trick.

Paul Pogba switches off, Luke Shaw is in field again, pathetic. Pogba might as well not be on the field the way Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg went past him.

Wow, what a goal though. We can talk about Manchester United defensively and how shambolic they've been but you've got to give credit to Tottenham.

This really could be any scoreline. When Manchester City beat United 6-1 it was the first time I'd ever seen them give up in a game, this is the same ballpark. Just gone. Heads gone.

Before the start of the season we all do our predictions and I said if Manchester United signed three or four players, a centre back being one, a wide player, a centre forward and a midfielder they can challenge. I said if you finish above Manchester United you'd win the league and a lot of people have given me stick for that but I honestly believed that, I genuinely did.

They will be lucky to finish in the top four based on today.

    Serge Aurier (51 mins)

He deserves that! He's dominated the whole flank all game and Serge Aurier strokes Spurs into a four-goal lead. What an excellent goal, Paul Pogba doesn't track the right-back but it's an excellent pass from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to pick him out and he drives across David de Gea and in!

I think you'll find their progress off the field has been excellent though Lee. They have an official pillows partner after all. And a noodle brand.

Lee Jones: This club has been ruined from the top down. No sense of direction in the transfer market, no leadership on or off the pitch. A disgrace!
