  1. PENALTY TO HAMILTONpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Hibernian 2-0 Hamilton

Paul McGinn is perhaps fortunate to escape with a booking as he trips Marios Ogkmpoe as the Accies striker prepares to unleash a shot.

Ogkmpoe dusts himself down and goes in search of the ball for the spot-kick.

Livi are level and you can't say it's not deserved.

Martin Bartley delivers a low ball in from the left and big centre-back Jon Guthrie provides a finish a striker would be proud of as he sweeps it into the far corner.

  3. goal

GOAL Aberdeen 0-1 St Mirrenpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Ethan Erhahon

St Mirren goalImage source, BBC Sport

It's just the goal this game needed and the one St Mirren were looking for.

A throw-in to the Aberdeen box is cleared but Cammy MacPherson retrieves and tees up Ethan Erhahon for a stunning left-foot strike from 25 yards.

    Can the Dons respond?

  4. Postpublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Dundee Utd 1-0 Livingston

Livingston are back on the front foot, with Nicky Devlin fizzing a ball across the face of United's goal.

Mark Connolly does well to knock the ball behind to relieve the pressure.

  5. Hallberg & Ogkmpoe on at Easter Roadpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Hibernian 2-0 Hamilton Academical

Both sides have made a change at half-time.

Hibs midfielder Joe Newell took a bang on the shoulder shortly before the break and his place is taken by Melker Hallberg.

Meanwhile, Accies make a change up front, with the powerful Marios Ogkmpoe on for Andy Winter.

  6. Temper, temperpublished at 20:51 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

It all got a bit towsy there as Aberdeen's Scott Wright took out his frustration on Cammy MacPherson after the St Mirren man kept running with the ball despite being penalised. All over now after some pushing and shoving.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

And we're up and running again.

  8. 'Nisbet a very clever player'published at 20:49 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

Former Hearts & Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

I really like Kevin Nisbet, he seems a very clever player. His awareness for the second goal is brilliant. He knows he doesn't need to get loads of power on it and just flicks it into the top corner.

  9. Will there be a breakthrough at Pittodrie?published at 20:48 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Quote Message

St Mirren can be pretty happy with their first half efforts. After a shaky start they really found their feet. Aberdeen's creative players began the game really looking in the mood, but dropped out of things as the half wore on. An interesting second half awaits.

  10. 'United goal is controversial'published at 20:46 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    HT: Dundee United 1-0 Livingston

It hasn't been great here. The goal is a controversial one. I think there's a foul for Livingston in the build up, something for trail by Sportscene tonight. It's a great strike from Clark though.

  11. 'St Mirren matching Aberdeen well'published at 20:44 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    HT: Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Aberdeen haven't been able to produce the same flair as they did against Ross County. The more dangerous opportunities have come for St Mirren. They've matched Aberdeen and matched them well.

  12. Livi lay siege on United after falling behindpublished at 20:42 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    HT: Dundee Utd 1-0 Livingston

The visitors may well be stunned inside the dressing room right now since Livingston have had nine shots on target to United's one.

They've also had 60% of possession.

But there's only one stat that counts and it was a glorious goal from Nicky Clark.

  13. HALF-TIME Hibernian 2-0 Hamilton Academicalpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

It's all too easy for Hibs and summer signing Kevin Nisbet.

Accies head coach Brian Rice sacrificed a striker from his Saturday's formation to play five at the back, but they were too often posted missing as the home players ghosted past them into the visiting penalty box.

Kyle Gourlay was handed his Hamilton debut with first-choice goalkeeper Ryan Fulton having had a positive Covid-19 test and there were question marks about his positioning as Nisbet found the net from an early free-kick.

The loss to injury of rugged defender Shaun Want further hampered Hamilton and it was no surprise when Nisbet's header extended the lead. Much for Rice to ponder at half-time.

  14. CLOSE!published at 20:35 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Hibernian 2-0 Hamilton Academical

Accies almost pull a goal back with their first spell of pressure in first-half stoppage time as David Templeton curls an 18-yard drive just wide. A chink of light for the visitors perhaps.

  15. HALF-TIME Dundee Utd 1-0 Livingstonpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

Quite how United are ahead is something of a mystery.

Nicky Clark's sublime free-kick separates the sides, but Livingston have been hammering away at the hosts ever since.

United keeper Deniz Mehmet has played an absolute blinder to preserve his side's lead.

  16. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirrenpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

A fairly open and entertaining first half but no goals.

St Mirren had to weather an early flurry of efforts from Aberdeen but have carved out a couple of decent chances of their own.

After five defeats on the bounce, the Buddies would probably take this score at full-time but the Dons will have other ideas as they try to keep pace with third-placed Hibernian.

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

Jamie McGrath dances away from Lewis Ferguson to set up Lee Erwin for a shot but the fair-haired St Mirren forward cannot keep his effort down.

  18. 'Hamilton all over the place'published at 20:30 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Hibernian 2-0 Hamilton

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts & Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

This must be one of the worst 45 minutes Brian Rice has seen from this Hamilton team. They've been all over the place.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:29 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Dundee Utd 1-0 Livingston

Yep, you guessed it, it's Deniz Mehmet again.

Scott Tiffoney scurries down the inside left channel and gets a shot way, but the home keeper saves well with his legs.

  20. 'Buddies growing in confidence'published at 20:28 British Summer Time 2 October 2020

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

    Quote Message

St Mirren are certainly not looking like a team who are bottom of the league and on a run of five straight defeats. They are visibly growing in confidence and now giving Aberdeen plenty to think about.
