    We've shared every minute of Wales' Nations League campaign together on this forum and this is the most dominant Wales have been in any passage of play in any of the games so far.

    They have been the better team throughout this one.

    Dan James, who has looked like he's carrying a piano on his back in Wales' last two games, looks really sharp tonight.

    Frankly, he looks like himself again. Good to see.

    He charged at Bulgaria, but just couldn't find Tyler Roberts as Wales burst forward.

    However, Chris Mepham won the ball back and James fired across goal and wide.

    But encouraging signs.

    Tactically it has been an interesting game so far.

    Wales are getting good chances from set pieces, but haven't been effective yet.

    Ryan Giggs has stuck with a 4-2-3-1 formation over the past year or so but, earlier in his reign, he loved nothing more than a tactical tinker.

    We're seeing more of that tonight, with a switch to a wing-backs system and a fluid front three of Tyler Roberts, Daniel James and Harry Wilson, all swapping positions at will.

    It will be interesting to see how much Giggs changes things as this match wears on.

    Tonight's referee is Aliyar Aghayev from Azerbaijan.

    He has never refereed a full Wales international but he did oversee a 3-0 win for their Under-17s against Slovenia in 2013.

    Harry Wilson scored two goals that day and the Liverpool midfielder is one of Wales' few first-team regulars in attacking positions who's not been ruled out of tonight's game with injury or suspension.

    Maybe it's a bit of a stretch to think of Wilson's two goals for Wales Under-17s seven years ago as a good omen for this evening's game.

    Let's just call it a tenuous link.

    At least a couple of Wales players could well be on the move before the close of the transfer window in England on Friday.

    Harry Wilson, the Liverpool winger, looks likely to head to a Championship club on loan. Both Swansea and Cardiff City are keen on the free-kick specialist, but a return to Derby County is perhaps looking most likely.

    The Swans are definitely looking for reinforcements, but will Wales defender Joe Rodon be departing the Liberty Stadium?

    Both Tottenham and West Ham are keen on the defender, though Spurs seem to be leading the chase as they look to add a third Wales international to their ranks for this season.

    Friday will definitely be a day to watch for Wales fans.

    Complete the sequence... 0-0, 0-1, 0-1, 0-1, 0-1, 1-0, ?

    It is entirely fair to say we rarely get a cracker when Wales face Bulgaria, as those are the last five scorelines between the sides.

    Wales, have, however, won the last two competitive fixtures.

    The 0-1 came in a Euro qualifier in 2011 as a Gareth Bale goal gave Wales a win in Sofia.

    It was also 1-0 last month when Neco Williams scored an injury time winner in the reverse Nations League fixture in Cardiff.

    But if history is an indicator, don't expect a thriller tonight.
