West Brom have won just one of their past 11 Premier League games at the Hawthorns in which they've been level at half-time (D6 L4).

  2. 'It's been an interesting first half'published at 18:20 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's been a good 0-0. It's been end to end. No clear-cut chances, but Burnley manager Sean Dyche, away from home, will be happy. Both teams need the points - it's been an interesting first half.

    Leeds v Wolves (20:00 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Ex-Liverpool defender

Wolves have been a bit up and down so far and this will be another tough test for them.

Leeds were impressive again in their draw with Manchester City, and their attacking outlook is going to win them a lot of fans.

    Prediction: 2-1

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

  6. Postpublished at 45 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

Two minutes to be added on as West Brom force a corner. Burnley will head these away all night long (all night) though.

  7. Postpublished at 43 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

Plenty of honest endeavour from both sides, Kevin Long makes a great challenge to strip the ball from Grady Diangana and Ashley Barnes and Dwight McNeil almost link up at the other end.

Just needs a mistake or a moment of gold to open the floodgates.

  8. Postpublished at 41 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

West Brom have scored four of their five goals this Premier League campaign before half-time. It's Burnley who have it at the moment as we tick towards the break, another good ball in from Dwight McNeil can't find a friend though.

  9. 'It was closer than I thought'published at 18:10 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

He looked ahead of the defender. It was a good ball in the box, but I did see the striker had gone early.

[After seeing the VAR decision] Actually it was closer than I thought. I'm glad we got that right!

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

VAR will check this but yeah, that one actually is pretty clear. Off.

  11. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 37 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

    Debut goal! No!

West Brom come away down the left, Grady Diangana swings in a cracking cross which Karlan Grant plants into the far corner.

Before he can celebrate though the offside flag was raised.

  12. Postpublished at 35 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

There is Matheus Pereira picking the ball up, facing up the Burnley defenders and getting a shot in - it's deflected up and away.

From the corner there's a half chance for Branislav Ivanovic but he kicks fresh midlands sky instead of the ball.

  13. 'Grant is quicker than Burnley centre-backs'published at 18:04 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Karlan Grant is quicker than Kevin Long and James Tarkowski. West Brom need to get Filip Krovinovic, Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira into little pockets to slide him in.

  14. Postpublished at 32 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

West Brom full-back Darnell Furlong whips in a cracking cross which Conor Townsend heads back across goal - straight at Nick Pope though.

  15. Postpublished at 30 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

Every attack is looking dangerous at the moment. West Brom get a ball across the goalmouth and then Burnley come up the other end and load up a couple of deep crosses which Branislav Ivanovic heads clear.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 26 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

Burnley want a penalty - and then nearly score! It's livening up. Dwight McNeil whips in a free-kick and a yellow shirt goes down at the back post. Anthony Taylor is unmoved.

The ball is nodded back across, Ashley Barnes takes it down and slams in a half-volley which Sam Johnstone tips over the top.

    Cracking stop.

  17. Postpublished at 23 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

Shot on goal, at both ends!

First West Brom counter with intent, they get dangerman Matheus Pereira running at the Clarets back four and he shoots low but not hard and it's an easy save for Nick Pope.

A long ball then catches out Sam Johnstone at the other end, the keeper can only head it out and Ashley Barnes tries the first-time lob. Good effort but Johnstone is able to just catch it.

  18. 'Clarets play 4-4-2 but won't get overrun in midfield'published at 17:52 British Summer Time 19 October 2020

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sean Dyche is one of the few managers that plays 4-4-2. You think Burnley would get overrun by West Brom's five men in midfield but wide-men Dwight McNeil and Johann Gudmundsson tuck in.

  19. Postpublished at 22 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

That's what he's there for - Burnley put on good pressure. Johann Gudmindsson's cross is a good one but Branislav Ivanovic makes a towering header to clear his lines.

  20. CLOSE!published at 18 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Burnley

Another dangerous low cross from Dwight McNeil is well dealt with. McNeil tucks in to the centre at times and then picks up the ball.

That's a half chance for the new man though as Karlan Grant is played through, he's got pace to get away from James Tarkowski but can only lift a shot over the top. Tough angle.
