He's only just turned 22 but this is Trent Alexander-Arnold's 100th Premier League appearance.

The right-back is the 50th Liverpool player to reach the landmark in the Premier League era - and the fifth youngest behind Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Jamie Redknapp and Steven Gerrard.

In his 99 top-flight appearances, Alexander-Arnold has helped Liverpool win 76 matches.

He has scored six goals and produced 27 assists.

    Not bad, eh.

    Tim Cahill

I think David Moyes is starting to build a similar ethos to the one he had at Everton. There’s a core around the team, then you add the flair.

They’re grinding out results. They have some injuries so they’re going to be tested. He’s one of those managers who builds a team that are compact without the ball, but they’re quite excited going forward.

I’m biased, but I think he’s doing well.

It takes talent, hard work and luck to win a trophy, but to be able to go again - it’s about character.

Liverpool are already showing that. They’re having to deal with all the different injuries and younger players coming into the team.

The key is getting the goalkeeper back. His confidence can spread through the rest of the team.

Liverpool v West Ham United (17:30 GMT)

    Karen Carney
Former England and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

If I'm David Moyes, I've got to play pace today. The difference with West Ham pre- and post-lockdown was the pace with Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen, they were turning teams around, always runs in behind. I'm not sure Sebastien Haller would be the right choice. You've got to go with your fastest, most dynamic players in that front line.

You'd want to hit Liverpool on the counter-attack because you'd expect them to have most of the possession.

  8. A fixture for Mane and Salahpublished at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

Liverpool v West Ham (17:30 GMT)

Sadio Mane is set to make his 200th Premier League appearance - and there probably aren't many teams he'd rather face to mark the occasion.

Mane has scored in each of his last four games against West Ham.

He has five goals and three assists in six Premier League games for Liverpool against the Hammers.

Team-mate Mohamed Salah will also be looking forward to this one, with six goals and two assists in his six top-flight games against West Ham.

  9. Can Hammers end Reds' incredible home record?published at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

Liverpool v West Ham (17:30 GMT)

If Liverpool avoid defeat against West Ham, they will equal the club record of 63 home league games unbeaten.

Jurgen Klopp's side have won 28 of their past 29 top-flight matches at Anfield.

And his side are unbeaten in eight Premier League games against the Hammers since losing both fixtures in 2015-16 (W6, D2).

West Ham's 3-0 win at Anfield in August 2015 is their only victory in their past 47 league games away to the Reds.

  10. 'Difficult for West Ham without Antonio'published at 17:15 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

Liverpool v West Ham (17:30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Without the injured Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool are playing a little bit like they know their back door is slightly ajar. Fabinho's hamstring injury in midweek clearly does not help in that department.

Having Alisson back in goal is a big boost, but he doesn't come for crosses so the Reds will need to find a way to deal with that.

West Ham have got their own injury problems too, though. Michail Antonio is their best striker but he is missing after being injured against Manchester City following his superb goal in that game.

Without him, West Ham will still be competitive but it is hard to see them getting anything out of this one.

    Prediction: 2-0

  12. 'I don't panic'published at 17:14 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    FT: Burnley 0-3 Chelsea

    Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "I think we started well. We should have had a penalty, but we know our record with penalties - I don't know what penalties are or aren't any more. I'm not remotely saying that would win us the game, but it would have given us a chance.

"We're getting punished for everything. That's how it is, things go against you or feel like they're going against you.

"[Chelsea] is a top side, the investment is paying them back over time as they learn and they mould. Against these teams you need decisions to go your way, we certainly didn't get many from the referee today.

"It's a challenge. The feeling that winning brings, the confidence it brings, it adds to what you're trying to achieve. There has to be a bit of realism - playing against these sides, top six sides, they can punish you, and they punished us today.

"I don't panic in general, to be honest, I'm not that sort of fella. I don't think panicking will change anything. I think structure, organisation and hard work, that may change things."

  13. 'It's exciting stuff when you're playing like that'published at 17:13 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    FT: Burnley 0-3 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Mason Mount talking to Match of the Day: "We know how hard it is to come here and get a result. We had to win the battle, match their fight, then with the players we've got we knew we could use the ball really well and try to break them down. Brilliant to get three goals and get a clean sheet as well.

"It's always going to take some time for us to click as a team but today it felt like we was moving with each other, we knew where each other wanted to go, and it clicked today. It's exciting stuff when you're playing like that - now we need to look at keeping that going.

"There's a lot of competition in the squad. We're all working hard, we're like a family. All we want to do is win as many games as we can.

"Getting that second goal from Big Zoum, that kind of set piece we didn't really have last season and it's something we've done a few times already this season."

  14. 'We're doing something positive'published at 17:12 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2020

    FT: Burnley 0-3 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard: "It was a very complete performance from us. It’s a difficult place to come. They make it very difficult for teams and they’ve been unlucky in games. We controlled massive parts of the game, so I’m very happy.

"I was always aware at the start of the season that it wasn’t going to be easy. It was asking a lot for us to fly out of the blocks, but performances like this show that we’re doing something positive. We need to get our heads down and keep working hard.

"It’s tight everywhere. There are games where we’ve been frustrated and dropped points. It’s happening everywhere in the Premier League."

On Hakim Ziyech: "I’m really impressed and really excited. I could see his personality and work-rate off the ball, he has that. You saw that today. That bit of quality gives us something different."

On Christian Pulisic’s injury: "He felt something on his hamstring. We tried to manage him in midweek, but we’ll see what happens in the next 24 hours. We’re talking minor, nothing serious."

It's a huge game for Nathaniel Phillips at the centre of Liverpool's defence alongside Joe Gomez.

Having arrived at Liverpool just before the start of the 2016-17 season following a successful trial with the club's academy, Phillips is making his first league start for the Reds.

His one and only previous start came in the FA Cup win over Everton last season.

Phillips spent most of last term on loan at Stuttgart in Germany's second tier.

    He's no teenager though, he's 23 now.

Just the one change for West Ham from the side that earned a point against Manchester City last week.

Substitutes: Yarmolenko, Benrahma, Lanzini, Snodgrass, Diop, Fredericks, Randolph.
