  1. Rocky Horror Show for Israel...published at 20:38 British Summer Time 11 October 2020

    HT: Israel 0-1 Czech Republic

The Czechs lead at the interval over in Haifa and we've had a look at the goal, which is a real moment to forget for Hibernian goalkeeper Ofir 'Rocky' Marciano.

He lets a simple pass back roll under his foot and he can't get back to stop the ball before it crosses the goal line.

  2. HALF-TIME Scotland 0-0 Slovakiapublished at 45 mins

Nothing much to get excited about at Hampden.

An even contest, with very little goalmouth action.

  3. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Much better from Scotland now as John McGinn's cross has Lyndon Dykes straining his neck muscles in anticipation but he almost jumps too high for the header and uses a hand instead, which the officials don't spot.

    That's a bit daft given he's on a booking.

  4. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

The corner almost falls for Declan Gallagher but the Motherwell defender is stretching and can't get much on the ball as it drifts wide.

  5. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Here's a chance for Lyndon Dykes as a John McGinn pass gets him running into the penalty area but he's a bit slow to pull the trigger and a defender gets across to make a sliding block.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 38 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Lyndon Dykes hasn't really been involved and perhaps the big striker is feeling a bit frustrated as he chases down Ivan Schranz and sends him tumbling with a tug.

  7. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Now Ryan Fraser is on the left and does well to dink a cross into the penalty area. It's half cleared and falls to Stephen O'Donnell near the 18 yard line but his awkward volley goes wide.

  8. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Ryan Fraser pops up on the right edge of the Slovak penalty area but there's no sign of any team-mates in support and the ball is worked back to the halfway line.

It's all a bit slow and laboured.

The game has lost its edge. Scotland just need to get back to basics.

  11. 'The new abnormal'published at 20:15 British Summer Time 11 October 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

    Tom English
BBC Scotland's chief sports writer at Hampden

One of the weird things about being at a hushed, soulless Hampden is that I’ve now got to the stage where it’s become familiar. I’m almost finding it hard to picture what it would look and sound like if it was heaving. That’s a bit sad. The new abnormal. Scotland are doing fine, meanwhile. They’re an early work in progress as an attacking team, but they’re further down the road in terms of making themselves tough to play against.

  12. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Andy Robertson spots Ryan Fraser off on a run and lofts a long ball over the top of the Slovak defence, but goalkeeper Dusan Kuciak comes haring out of his box to head clear.

  13. More dynamism needed from Dykes?published at 20:10 British Summer Time 11 October 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

We maybe have to be more clinical with our runs, Lyndon Dykes getting across his man earlier, because we're playing in the right areas.

  14. 'Confident start for Scotland'published at 20:08 British Summer Time 11 October 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Scotland have started really brightly, they look really confident, and the full backs are wing backs this evening. They're getting forward.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

The visitors are forced into an early change as Matus Bero comes off worst after clattering into Kenny McLean.

Marek Hamsik is then booked for a late challenge and Ondrej Duda finally makes it on to replace the stricken Bero.

  16. Czechs strike first in Israelpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 11 October 2020

    Israel 0-1 Czech Republic

An own goal from Joel Abu Hanna has given Czech Republic the lead away to Israel in tonight's other Group B2 game.

  17. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Now Slovakia have a corner as Declan Gallagher nods a Marek Hamik free kick behind. Hamsik curls in another good delivery and it's flicked on at the near post before Lukas Haraslin loops a header high and wide.

  18. Can Scotland exploit zonal system?published at 19:57 British Summer Time 11 October 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

It's quite interesting how Slovakia defend set-pieces, it's zonal. Scotland are putting four up at corners, normally it's a wrestling match, but they don't defend like that. The four are on their own.

  19. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

A third corner kick for Scotland. Andy Robertson pings it in and this time the keeper makes a mess of it and a defender in white has to hack it away inside the six yard box. The ref gives a foul for an infringement on goalkeeper Dusan Kuciak, which is a nonsense.

  20. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Slovakia

Scotland earn the evening's first corner, which is quickly followed by a second, which is punched away by the keeper.
