    The Aberdeen players are furious with referee Alan Muir as Ross McCrorie gets on to the end of a Ryan Hedges corner and the ball looks to have struck the arm of Lawrence Shankland as it heads towards the goal. It looked a clear penalty, but play is waved on.

    Both sides made four changes from their midweek League Cup wins. Reegan Mimnaugh, Charlie Trafford, Callum Smith and Ben Stirling all dropped to the bench for Accies. David Moyo, Scott Martin, Shaun Want and Kyle Munro come in.

    As for St Johnstone, Jason Kerr, Danny McNamara, Scott Tanser, Ali McCann replace Shaun Rooney, Callum Booth, Craig Bryson and Liam Craig.

    Tommie Hoban then has a great chance to put Aberdeen ahead from the resulting corner, but his headed effort is just wide of the post. The Dons are well on top so far.
