St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee United
St Johnstone come close to breaking the deadlock. A corner kick is met by the head of Murray Davidson who puts everything behind his effort... but Benjamin Siegrist reacts brilliantly to push it off the line.

Well this is comprehensive from Motherwell and four different scorers will also help confidence levels over ML1 way. Devante Cole’s scored on his second debut for the club and Tony Watt’s been involved in three of the goals.
Now it's a four v two breakaway for Hibs as Kevin Nisbet picks out strike partner Christian Doidge near the edge of the box but the big man turns into trouble and is rather easily dispossessed.
Will Hibs rue these chances to stretch their lead?

Devante Cole
Devante Cole returned to Motherwell shortly before the transfer deadline and he's added his name to the scoresheet with a composed finish after a powerful run at the Ross County defence.
Kilmarnock 0-1 Hibernian
The Killie defence is backing off as Stevie Mallan strides forward. It's a three v two situation and the Hibs midfielder decides to go himself, sending a shot from 18 yards inches wide.

Hibs are starting to string a few nice passing sequences together and a lovely outside-of-the-boot pass from Stevie Mallan finds Paul McGinn on the right edge of the box but the full-back drills a first-time effort wide.
St Johnstone continue to create most of the chances at McDiarmid Park, and David Wotherspoon's shot is charged down by Mark Connolly with the deflection almost catching out his goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist, but the Swiss stopper manages to push it wide for a corner kick.

This is a game that really needs something to bring it to life. Saints still have most of the possession, but chances really are few and far between. United have offered little in an attacking sense since the opening few minutes of this goalless affair.

Chris Burke gets in behind the Hibs defence and cuts the ball back for Greg Kiltie but the Kilmarnock midfielder wants too long to sort his feet out and that allows Paul Hanlon to close him down and stop the shot.
Burke gets a second bite at it and Ofir Marciano bats his cross away with a kind of underarm volleyball punch.
Callum Lang
Callum Lang has just come on as a substitute and he is in the right place at the right time to turn Declan Gallagher's header into the net for Motherwell's third.

Summer signing Mark O’Hara sure comes in handy. He can play in defence or midfield, often pops up with goals in open play and hits penalties as well! The former Kilmarnock and Peterborough United man put this one low into his bottom left corner after Tony Watt was judged to have been fouled by Alex Iacovitti.
Motherwell 2-0 Ross County
Ross Stewart really should have halved Ross County's deficit there.
The big striker latches onto Michael Gardyne's header and has virtually the whole goal to aim at but he gets his connection wrong and knocks it wide.
Kilmarnock 0-1 Hibernian
A lovely turn from Kevin Nisbet near the edge of the box takes the Hibs striker away from two defenders but once again Stuart Findlay gets himself in the way with a solid block.
