The first half ends with Motherwell captain Declan Gallagher clearing Regan Charles-Cook's shot off the line to keep the hosts in front.

These teams met on the opening weekend and it was a narrow win for Ross County but can they recover in the second half?

  2. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:47

Much like last week's New Firm derby, Dundee United have lived dangerously yet haven't conceded.

St Johnstone have grown more into the game, but despite a glut of chances have yet to seriously test United goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist.

  3. McGinley magicpublished at 15:46

    Motherwell 1-0 Ross County

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

Nathan McGinley deserves a lot of credit for the lovely, inviting ball he put on a plate for Tony Watt there. Still early days for 24-year-old McGinley at Fir Park since his move from Forest Green Rovers, but the Englishman will have helped his case there with that excellent assist.

  4. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Hibernian

Kilmarnock's Greg Kiltie is first to a loose ball as Hibs defend a corner. He prods a shot on target but it's blocked on the line by a cluster of players in yellow. It might have been goal hero Kevin Nisbet that got in the way.

Hibs break quickly and Alan Power is booked for a cynical hack on Martin Boyle on the touchline near halfway.

  5. champagne moment

    CHAMPAGNE MOMENTpublished at 43 mins

    St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee United

Mark Connolly may currently be at the McDiarmid Park entrance trying to get back in to the stadium after St Johnstone's David Wotherspoon bamboozles him on the left hand side and leaves the United defender floundering on the turf.

Wotherspoon continues his run into the box and with three more United shirts around him tries to squeeze a shot inside the near post, but Benjamin Siegrist is able to stop him.

  6. Dikamona in distresspublished at 42 mins

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Hibernian

It's not been a good day for Clevid Dikamona. The big defender, who conceded the penalty, lands awkwardly after a joust with Christian Doidge and he is carried off on a stretcher after a lengthy period of treatment.

Stuart Findlay was not on the original team-sheet but he's on the park now as his replacement.

  7. St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:41

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

St Johnstone have started to play a bit now, finally getting a foothold in this game. Conway, McNamara and Wotherspoon in particular are starting to cause United a few problems.

  10. Meet Aaronpublished at 34 mins

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross County

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

A Motherwell debut then for goalkeeper Aaron Chapman, who at 30-years-old is not short of experience. He’s had a varied career in England, most recently with Peterborough United, which is also where fellow Claret & Amber man Mark O’Hara used to play.

Chapman replaces the injured Trevor Carson.

  11. St Johnstone 0-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 33 mins

St Johnstone's best chance of the game so far. Craig Conway's corner is on the button for Jason Kerr whose header is just wide of the post.

Shortly after, Saints' Scott Tanser cuts the ball onto his right foot and curls a shot just wide.

  12. Goalkeeper change for Motherwellpublished at 31 mins

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross County

Michael Gardyne finds space on the left and crosses for Regan Charles-Cook at the back post but the Ross County man cannot get the better of Motherwell goalkeeper Trevor Carson, who is still moving gingerly after that awkward landing.

Indeed Carson has signalled and he is now coming off to be replaced by Aaron Chapman.

  14. PENALTY TO HIBERNIANpublished at 27 mins

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hibernian

Clevid Dikamona gets himself in a tangle on the edge of his own penalty box and Christian Doidge manages to wrestle his way past the centre-half, only to have his heel clipped.

Down he goes and referee Colin Steven points to the spot after a moment of deliberation.

  15. Sore one for Carsonpublished at 27 mins

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross county

Motherwell goalkeeper Trevor Carson had to race off his line to head clear and appears to have landed awkwardly outside the box.

The Northern Ireland international receives treatment and is able to continue for now.

  16. Keep it moving!published at 25 mins

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross County

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

Ross County are doing fine so far in their 3-5-2 shape, with Alex Iacovitti, Tom Grivosti and Coll Donaldson left to right in that back-line.

On a few occasions, manager Stuart Kettlewell has cut a frustrated figure at the side because the ball’s not been moved around the pitch quickly enough.

He’ll want to test Motherwell’s match fitness by keeping the tempo high.

  18. Composure in short supply at Fir Parkpublished at 20 mins

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross County

Motherwell are lacking a bit of sharpness in the final third while Ross County have just picked the wrong pass whenever they've got into attacking areas.

There's an energy to the game, which when matched with composure will produce chances. *crossing fingers and toes*

  19. Give us a goalpublished at 18 mins

No goals in any of the three Premiership games as we approach the 20-minute mark. Hopefully, that will change soon...

  20. Burke giving ref an ear-bashingpublished at 16 mins

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hibernian

Chris Burke is not far off the ripe old age of 37 but the Kilmarnock winger still has an impressive turn of pace... and the veteran still enjoys giving referees an earful - as Colin Steven will attest to - having been on the receiving end of a series of grumbles already.
