A sucker-punch for the hosts right on half-time.

They looked lively after Jack Hunt made it 2-1 but Dean Holden's side have not been able to deal with Norwich's movement in attack.

Teemu Pukki looks back to his best with two composed finishes and Emi Buendia's fine touch and strike has given them a cushion.

Two minutes have been added on at the end of this thoroughly entertaining first half.

Having been on the ropes when Bristol City halved their deficit, Norwich are now the side probing.

Max Aarons surges down the right but can't quite find the pass to tee up Teemu Pukki in the middle.

That was nearly a magnificent third goal for Norwich.

We have our first lull in proceedings at Ashton Gate, which is understandable after a frenetic start.

Bristol City have certainly looked better since pulling one back but Norwich have regained their composure after a dodgy 10 minute spell.
