    Patrick Bamford

    Delightful finish.

This is a man full of confidence.

Patrick Bamford points to Mateusz Klich where he wants the ball inside the area, he gets it on a plate and dinks a Michael Owen-esque finish past VIcente Guaita for the equaliser.

  4. goal

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-0 Leedspublished at 12 mins

    Scott Dann

It was coming, to be fair.

Eberechi Eze whips in a brilliant corner, Scott Dann rises highest to it and powerfully heads in the opener.

Illan Meslier gets a hand on it but cannot keep it out and ends up in the back of the net with the ball.

  5. 'Hodgson has made things slightly more unpredictable'published at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

Definitely a slightly different attacking approach from Crystal Palace - Roy Hodgson has mixed things up and made things a little bit more unpredictable.

Eberi Eze dropping inside he's got a couple of nicely timed runs and when the ball goes into Jordan Ayew or Wilfried Zaha he's there to have it set back and then all of a sudden the movement is free from there. I like the look of this for Palace.

  6. CLOSE!published at 7 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Leeds

All the early pressure is coming from the hosts.

This is nice from Eberi Eze, showing great balance to take the ball, spin and lay it off into the path of Patrick van Aanholt, but the Dutch defenders shoots straight at Illan Meslier.

Wilfried Zaha leaves Luke Ayling for dead down the left and then finds Andros Townsend in the box, but the Palace winger is crowded out as he looks to get a shot away.

  8. CLOSE!published at 2 mins

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Leeds

Andros Townsend has a cheeky pop from the right in the opening couple of minutes, attempting to catch Illan Meslier out at the near post but the Frenchman skirts across to gather.

  11. 'Palace are more balanced with Zaha in the team'published at 14:59 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

Crystal Palace v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

    Matt Upson
Former England and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wilfried Zaha has been a player that Crystal Palace have relied on. Statistically without him in previous seasons it's scary reading for Palace because he's been such a focal point. This season has been slightly different, he's in a slightly different position - playing a bit more central off the front or as a two so that's a big change for him. That's allowed Palace to have a bit more balance as a whole.

His best position is still on that left side I think, but he's so dangerous cutting in and getting to the by-line and it allows him to have that one-on-one activity which he loves. But I can understand why Roy Hodgson has moved him more central because they were struggling to find a real goal scorer in front of goal so we'll see if he can pop up with a few more goals for them.

    FT: Everton 1-3 Man Utd

    Everton

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti to BT Sport: "The problem was that after we scored we were not able to defend well, and they took advantage. They were able to score easily. We said before the game we had to defend better and we did not defend good enough. We were slow at the back, we have to improve.

"I hope that after the international break we will back in a different shape. It is not only a probelem of the defenders, it is all of the team.

"I know how to manage difficulties, every year you have them. We can start again after the break, we are really bad at the moment but we started well."

    FT: Everton 1-3 Man utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to BT Sport: "We were set up to fail. The kick-off time set us up to fail. We have been to Turkey, played loads of games this season already, we got back Thursday morning and we are playing Saturday lunchtime, it's an absolute shambles.

"These boys deserve better. Luke Shaw has got injured because of it. It's a hamstring which might be a long one and Marcus Rashford might be struggling.

"The authorities set us up for fail, who is responsible? We've had enough of that. Players this season, in these times, a pandemic, mentally and physically it's draining. Let us play on a Sunday, there's an international break after this, it's a joke.

"The players were brilliant. Cavani is getting better and better."

  16. 'We're all in this together'published at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

    Everton 1-3 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire speaking to BT Sport: "We knew we had to get three points today. It's early in the season and we don't look at the table but the points we have accumulated isn't good enough for this club.

"It's important to bounce back from setbacks. We did it at Newcastle. We started the game really well but conceded a disappointing goal from a long, direct ball and we should have had better cover. We've been questioned but we know we don't answer them in 90 minutes, we answer them day in, day out. The lads are working tirelessly for this club, everyone wants to improve and do better. The manager has to pull the lads off the training ground.

"I think we know the first goal in Istanbul can't happen. We went away to Turkey and knew it would be tough game. It made it a frustrating night for us and the individuals knew in the changing room straight after and held their hands up and apologised. We are a good group who work really hard and we're all in this together."

  19. 'Everyone needs to be a leader'published at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

    FT: Everton 1-3 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes speaking to BT Sport: "It was a great end to the game. We knew what we had to do [today] and we did it well.

"We did some mistakes in the second half, maybe we were a bit more confident and wanted to go forward and we didn't keep the ball too much. After the first goal we had a great reaction and we did what we had to do.

"We know our quality. We worked hard for the game. It was difficult to recover after the [Istanbul Basaksehir] game. This was the moment to do something in this game and we did it."

On being awarded the second goal: "I don't care if Marcus [Rashford] touched it a little bit it can be his goal, it is no problem for me - most important for me as a number 10 is serving my team mates.

"I think we know inside the dressing room what we need to do. Everyone needs to be a leader."

  20. 'You never know which team will turn up'published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

    FT Everton 1-3 Man Utd

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Former Arsenal forward Lianne Sanderson speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live: "It's hard to celebrate at the moment being a Manchester United fan - it's a good win for them. You just never know which team is going to turn up. Everton are in fine form but United are not.

"They need to find some home form, away from home they're seven games unbeaten but the home form needs to be better. It's a roller coaster being a Man United fan."
