Martin Bolton: This is the first time I’ve watched Everton this season and they play some very nice football, FulhamFC look at bit overwhelmed

David Bushell: Fulham supporters must be hiding behind their sofas watching their defence

  2. 'Iwobi delivering end product'published at 12:55 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Fulham 1-3 Everton

    Tim Cahill
Former Everton midfielder on BBC One

Alex Iwobi has been direct, purposeful and he's started having an end product to his game.

I like how he's dribbling with the ball and playing a high line to get up in support of the strikers.

    It's leading to great opportunities.

Alex Iwobi - top-class wing-back. Who would have thought?

    Well, Carlo Ancelotti for starters.

Since Lucas Digne's Premier League debut in August 2018, only two defenders have provided more assists than his 15 in the English top-flight.

It makes the total of Liverpool pair Trent Alexander-Arnold (26) & Andrew Robertson (25) seem even more impressive.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45+2 mins

Cracking game. Unless you support Fulham.

It has been gripping from start to finish. And you suspect the scoring isn't done yet.

There's a dynamic of a cat batting a wounded mouse about to this. Everton keep possession around and in the Fulham box, waiting for the chance to strike. Richarlison looks like he is going to take it but lays it off to James Rodriguez instead and he draws a decent one-hand save from Areola.

    Fulham 1-3 Everton

Calvert-Lewin isn't just a one-touch finishing machine. His hold-up play is superb. Everton are pinging balls at him and they are all largely sticking. The Fulham lads can't get near him.

  8. 'Allan pulling the strings'published at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Fulham 1-3 Everton

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

It's easy to see the talent going forward in this Everton side, and Lucas Digne on the left has been absolutely magnificent.

But Allan has been the one stitching it all together in the middle of that midfield.

Fulham continue to be a defensive disaster, but don't think that Bobby Reid goal got enough appreciation. Beautifully intricate build-up play to which Everton had no answer. Can't see Fulham getting anything from this but I can see it ending up 5-3!

    Grace from Scunthorpe

Am I the only one who thinks DCL is a very similar footballer to a certain MOTD presenter in Gary Lineker? His positioning and ability to sniff out a goal is perfect! Just like Mr Lineker...

More Keystone Cops at the back from Fulham. In the space of two minutes they somehow survive two Everton attacks more by luck than skill. Missed kicks, fluffed finishes, deflections and dives. Could have been an own goal, could have been a third for Calvert-Lewin.

If you're a Fulham fan, you're watching this through your fingers.

Fulham show some of that attacking flair with a neat move to open up Everton down the left, but Lookman's pull-back is into space and then cleared.

Stevie Bowes: What a game this has been. Its been 100mph since the first whistle

George Bennett: Alex Iwobi is having by far his best game in an Everton shirt. He’s been an absolute live wire from the start.

Fulham have some useful attacking players, but it's pointless when they have to score four to win every game.

The third goal has really winded them.

  14. 'Like a training session'published at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Fulham 1-3 Everton

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

It's almost like a training session, the ease with which Everton are able to get on the end of these crosses.

It's a good finish, from another cross of good quality by Lucas Digne.

  15. goal

GOAL - Fulham 1-3 Evertonpublished at 33 mins

    Abdoulaye Doucoure

Too easy. Way, way too easy.

Everton work more space for Lucas Digne (asking for trouble) and then give Abdoulaye Doucoure all the time and space on the world (really asking for trouble) to head in from the cross.

You really fear for Fulham now. This could get messy.

    Fulham 1-2 Everton

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has now scored in seven of his nine Premier League appearances for Everton this season (10 goals) making him the out-right top scorer in the division.

And his economy of touches to goals continues.

  19. 'Magnificent Toffees'published at 12:31 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Fulham 1-2 Everton

    Martin Keown

    Brilliant is the right word.

That's what happens when you play wingers as wing-backs, Alex Iwobi does really well in the build-up. The quality of the cross by Lucas Digne is brilliant.

The quality in that [move] was magnificent.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    Fulham 1-2 Everton

Bobby Decordova-Reid got a yellow card during the Everton celebrations for that goal. I think it was for an earlier foul on Richarlison.
