    Arsenal 1-2 Wolves

Arsenal move it around nicely on the right but it breaks down eventually. Wolves try to break through Fabio Silva, who is looking for the run of Adama Traore, but he can't thread it through.

Leander Dendoncker picks it up and retains possession before Hector Bellerin has to slide in to block a shot from Daniel Podence at a tight angle on the left.

Willian takes it, not Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but he curls it just over the bar. Rui Patricio probably had it covered anyway.

    Ouch. You could hear that!

Bukayo Saka beats Fabio Silva to the ball on the edge of the Wolves box and he gets a full whack from Silva's boot.

He's okay though and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is licking his lips at this free-kick position...

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 55 mins

    It's so open!

Kieran Tierney drills a cross in from the left but Marcal is in the right place to clear it away, a few yards off the line.

Wolves go straight on the counter but Adama Traore gets a yellow when he goes down appealing for a penalty following a challenge from Gabriel.

    Michael Oliver says he's dived.

Morty Smith: Arsenal massively lacking creativity at the moment. If only we had an experienced midfielder we could bring on whose known for creating chances and getting assists...

Can people stop bringing up Ozil. We won 5 of the 18 games he started last season, he had one assist and he only created three more chances than the much-criticised Pepe

    Stephen, Belfast

What happened to the Pep Prodigy that was Mikel Arteta... his team have lost half their premier league games so far this season. Surely he deserves a similar level of criticism to which Wenger n Emery would have faced... is Artetas inexperience being shown up

    Arsenal 1-2 Wolves

Arsenal are all over the place.

Pedro Neto is there on the left again. It comes to Joao Moutinho on the edge of the box and he hits it with power.

It's blocked by the head of Gabriel, who goes down straight away. He took that on full. The medical staff are back on again but thankfully, Gabriel looks to be okay.

Hector Bellerin gets down the right, whips one into the box and Bukayo Saka should do better.

He's unmarked but he skews his shot. It comes over to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but he can't tee up Saka for a second chance.

Wolves then win the ball back, Pedro Neto gets the better of Rob Holding but Gabriel makes a brilliant tackle to deny Fabio Silva.

Arsenal hire the best of the best [medical staff] and they sat there for 10 minutes assessing David Luiz, putting the bandage on and speaking to him the whole time.

They would not have let him back on the pitch if he was not fit to play. They would have taken the decision out of the player's hands.

The free-kick from Bukayo Saka comes to nothing and Rob Holding then catches Wilyl Boly with a flailing arm.

Michael Oliver immediately blows the whistle but Pedro Neto wanted the advantage because he had made a nice run in behind.

Rob Holding is coming on for Arsenal though. It looks like he will replace David Luiz. Just precautionary you would hope?

Ben Kellow: Are arsenal fans regretting getting rid of Wenger? At least he consistently kept them in the top four on a reduced budget.

Abu: When 5"5 Podence is beating our players in the air.....you know this team has no fight or desire.

Sam: If only we had an attacking playmaker we could bring on. Ever since Arteta banished Ozil our results have gradually got worse.

I didn't expect to see three goals after that incident but that's no surprise as these players are the best at focusing on the job in hand.

The manager will be saying to everyone [at half time] "keep focus".

As a player you know you've got a job to do, it's not cold-hearted, it's a way to get your mind to it and not get distracted.

Yossi Hurst: Arsenal defenders look too scared to press - at this rate we’ll have to go back to five at the back

Kurt Booth: We've turned a corner under Arteta. In fact, we've turned several and now we're going backwards. I was so happy when Emery left but now I don't know why. We're terrible defensively and now have virtually no threat or creativity going forward. Bad times.

Aubameyang is yet to get going this season, supposedly world class players need to be able to perform year in year out. His dinning out on past performances.

It's been a good phase of play from Arsenal to end the half, but they need to be on the front foot more.
