    Northern Ireland want another!

It smacks off the outside of the right post!

  6. 'Unbelievable'published at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2020

    Northern Ireland 1-1 Slovakia

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Unbelievable that was an own goal from what I can see - amazing run by Paddy McNair he gets it on the touchline and brings it right into the 6-yard-box, and at the end of the day the defender had to put it in the net because if not Liam Boyce would've buried it behind him. Unbelievable - an own goal.

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Slovakia

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Northern Ireland don't seem to be able to get even half a chance, they had a bit of pressure from throw-ins in the first five minutes of the second half but after that chances have been few and far between. To be fair to Slovakia, they are dictating the pace of the game and that doesn't help N Ireland.

Stuart Dallas launches a long throw in from the left. Jonny Evans can't get his head on it and it's a Slovakian defender who picks up the second ball.

Another cross is then cleared by Juraj Kucka.

Centre-back Milan Skriniar is so comfortable on the ball. He's carried it all the way down the left wing, beating two players in the process before holding it up and laying it off.

Northern Ireland eventually win it back but Gavin Whyte's final pass is straight at a defender.
