  1. Flashes of dangerpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2020

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Serbia are showing glimpses here they may be rousing themselves. A few wee interchanges on the edge of the Scotland box fizzle out into nothing in the damp Belgrade night, but a reminder of the threat Scotland face here

  2. Nervous Serbs?published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2020

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

    Quote Message

It is as if Serbia are looking to bed in because of that poor recent home record and it is allowing Scotland plenty of possession

  3. Deadly Dykes?published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2020

    Serbia 0-0 Scotland

Lyndon Dykes hasn't seen much of the ball so far but the big Queens Park Rangers forward is leading the line.

A bit disconcerting how much of the game is being played in the Serbian half. The hosts haven't shown too much yet and the pessimist is waiting for a suckerpunch, but the longer the game goes the more confidence the Scots can take.

Scotland are seeing plenty of the ball. They're rarely being put under any pressure when they get the ball. It's been a decent start.

The last time Scotland played a game of this magnitude, they were already 1-0 down to Italy in 2007.

And a long-range shot from Ryan Christie is easily gathered by Serbian keeper Predrag Rajkovic. Scotland the better team so far. Keep it going, boys.

Nikola Milenkovic goes into the book for an arm in the face of John McGinn. Chance here for the Scots to swing a ball into the box.

  8. Feeling relaxed, boys?published at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2020

The Sportscene boys (and Tam Cowan) look confident as they take in the action tonight. You can catch highlights of the game with the team on BBC Scotland at 23:00 GMT.

Well, we're four minutes in and Scotland have looked comfortable. Both teams seem content to lump the ball forward, but nothing is really sticking.

Certainly Steve Clarke's men don't look daunted by the prospect of this.

Right, one last vote. Can Scotland do it? Thumbs up for a yes, thumbs down if you're clearly wrong...

    Serbia v Scotland (19:45)

The tears have been wiped away, the tracksuit tops tossed in a heap at the side of the park. There's just about enough time to bring you one ore good luck message.

  18. Closely matchedpublished at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2020

    Serbia v Scotland (19:45)

Our man Clive Lindsay has been analysing the clubs represented by both nations. Here's his take:

Serbia's squad has more international experience, but if you look at the clubs the two starting line-ups play for, its a fairly evenly matched.

Man-for-man, I think that is 6-5 for Serbia, but too close to call!

    Reims - Derby County

    Fiorentina - Manchester United

    Strasbourg - Motherwell

    Sevilla - Arsenal

    Hellas Verona - Motherwell

    Getafe - Liverpool

    Torino - Celtic

    Eintracht Frankfurt - Rangers

    Lazio - Aston Villa

    Ajax - Celtic

    Fulham - Queens Park Rangers

I have been confident about this. This fixture is made for Stevie Clarke. This is what he does well. He comes up against teams that on paper are better than us but digs out results
