  5. Hayden adds third for Carlislepublished at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

Gillingham 1-1 Charlton, Crawley 0-3 Carlisle

It looks like game, set and match for Carlisle at Crawley as Aaron Hayden stabs in their third.

The Cumbrians are going third in League Two as it stands.

Meanwhile, it's all over in League One where it's finished all square between Gillingham and Charlton - John Akinde earning the Addicks a point by cancelling out Jordan Graham's penalty.

  6. Can Stoke avoid making history?published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

    Stoke v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    Michael O'NeillImage source, Rex Features

Huddersfield ended Stoke's run of five straight wins in this very fixture last season when they beat them 1-0 but what a difference a season makes.

Under Michael O'Neill, Stoke are in better shape this term and are within touching distance of the play-off places.

Huddersfield have never beaten Stoke in consecutive away league matches ever.

    Is today the day?

  7. In-form Watford look to improve QPR recordpublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

    QPR v Watford (15:00 GMT)

    Vladimir IvicImage source, Rex Features

In-form Watford face off against a Queens Park Rangers side who won 2-1 in this fixture the last time these two teams played each other in the capital.

The Hornets have lost just twice in 11 Championship games this season but have won just once in their past five trips to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

That victory came almost a decade ago, in December 2010, as they ran out 3-1 winners.

Can they improve that record starting today?

  8. Millwall to try and avoid third 0-0 in a rowpublished at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

    Millwall v Cardiff (15:00 GMT)

    Gary RowettImage source, Rex Features

With no wins in their last three games, Millwall will be looking to pick up momentum.

Form is not on their side either - the lions have won just one of their last 14 meetings with Cardiff.

Gary Rowett's side go into today's game on the back of two consecutive 0-0 draws and if they manage the same result today it'll only be twice in their Football League history that the Lions drawn three consecutive matches by this scoreline.

Cardiff who sit in 16th have not been in the greatest of form either with only one win in their last five games losing two of their last three

They'll be desperate for a win after going down to Bristol City in their last outing.

  9. Can Wycombe snuff out Bees' sting?published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

    Wycombe v Brentford (15:00 GMT)

    Scott KashkentImage source, Getty Images

Wycombe's last game before the international break ended in defeat, threatening to put the buffers on their revival in the Championship after back-to-back wins.

Brentford have not quite yet found their 2019-20 form this term, but with 10-goal Ivan Toney up top they have a finisher capable of hitting the target.

Scott Kashket has really looked smart at times this season for Wycombe, while Brentford still have Bryan Mbeumo - the remaining member of last year's BMW front-line.

Ominously, the Chairboys haven't beaten a team from London in six attempts... Brentford won't want to be the club that ends that run.

  10. Pulis' cause for Owls optimismpublished at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

Preston v Sheff Wed (15:00 GMT)

    Tony PulisImage source, Getty Images

Sheffield Wednesday desperately need some points as they aim to climb the table under newly-appointed boss Tony Pulis.

They do have cause for optimism as they travel to Deepdale to face Preston today, however.

The Lilywhites have lost all of their five home games this season and have scored just once.

In the history of the English Football League, only two sides - Newport in Division Four 1970-71 and Watford in Division Two 1990-91 - have lost their first six home games in a season.

  11. Charlton level, Carlisle double leadpublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

Gillingham 1-1 Charlton, Crawley 0-2 Carlisle

Two goals to bring you in our other two early kick-offs!

Chuks Aneke fires in a late equaliser for Charlton at Gillingham in League One.

And it's looking like it will be a very happy long journey home for Carlise from Crawley as Joshua Kayode taps in their second in Sussex.

  12. Can Luton extend run v Blackburn?published at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

    Luton v Blackburn (15:00 GMT)

    Nathan JonesImage source, Rex Features

Luton Town come into this game in 10th position in the Championship and in a much better position than they were last season.

And, ahead of their match against Blackburn today, they are in fine form against their opponents.

The Hatters have won five consecutive games against Rovers during a run which dates back to February of 1981.

Will that be six straight games come this evening?

  13. Can Swansea make it three consecutive home wins?published at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

    Swansea v Rotherham (15:00 BST)

    Steve CooperImage source, Getty Images

Swansea are currently siting just in the play-off places but go into today's game with no wins in their last two outings.

They'll be desperate to get back to winning ways after a 1-0 defeat at Norwich before the international break.

The Swans however have won their last two home games and will be looking to make it three on the bounce at the Liberty Stadium since August last year.

Rotherham will be looking to continue where they left off after overcoming Preston last time out in what was their third league win of the season.

The omens don't look good for The Millers today though - they have only managed just the one win in their last 16 trips to Swansea in the Football League.

  14. Boro hope to clip Canaries wingspublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

    Middlesbrough v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Neil WarnockImage source, Getty Images

Middlesbrough have been a pleasant surprise this season under Neil Warnock, unbeaten in 10 games and on the cusp of the top six.

Norwich, looking to bounce-back from relegation, have started their bid to win promotion in fine fettle with a seven game unbeaten run of their own.

The Canaries have a fine record against Boro, winning the past five without conceding, but Warnock is a canny operator and you would be wary of his ability to gee-up a team for big games like this.

  15. Graham gives Gills leadpublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2020

Gillingham 1-0 Charlton, Crawley 0-1 Carlisle

We were wondering if Charlton might rue Conor Washington's first-half penalty miss - and it looks like they might.

Former Wolves winger Jordan Graham has put Gillingham in front from the spot after John Akide was adjudged to have been fouled.

    Barnsley v Nott'm Forest (15:00 GMT)

Valerien Ismael and Chris HughtonImage source, Getty Images

Valerien Ismael and Chris Hughton could be forgiven for combining as some sort of Penn & Teller magician duo given the relative impacts they have had at their respective clubs since being brought in as early season managerial replacements.

Ismael took over a Tykes side without a win in seven and has duly delivered three wins from four, while Hughton's inherited Forest mob had lost all five but subsequently have lost just one of seven since his arrival.

Someone's (magician's) cloak of invincibility could snap today, couldn't it?

There's normally a bit of spice when South Yorkshire meets Nottinghamshire too, but the lack of fans might make this a bit less hostile an away day for the City Ground 'Reds'.
