    Luton Town manager Nathan Jones is back in his native south Wales just a week after a miserable visit to Cardiff City, where his team were thumped 4-0.

    Jones, who hails from the Rhondda Valley, will be hoping for better this weekend - but things have not started well with Connor Roberts' deflected shot giving Swansea an early lead.

    Jones won at the Liberty Stadium not once but twice last season - with Luton in June and Stoke in October 2019.

    But after a frustrating defeat at Middlesbrough in midweek, Swansea's Steve Cooper - from Pontypridd - has got the early advantage in the latest battle of the Rhondda-born managers.

    Kyle Joseph has fired struggling Wigan ahead against Sunderland in new manager Lee Johnson's first match in charge.

    Oxford United have the lead against leaders Hull though courtesy of James Henry's strike in front of 1,000 fans at the Kassam Stadium.

    Plymouth are piling the pressure on Ipswich as they have just taken the lead courtesy of Luke Jephcott.

    Accrington are also a goal to the good against MK Dons while AFC Wimbledon are 1-0 up against Bristol Rovers.

    Earlier on, Gillingham beat Swindon Town 2-0 at Priestfield.

    Port Vale meanwhile have the lead at Bolton courtesy of Manny Oyeleke and Leon Legge putting them into an early 2-0 lead.

    Mansfield are also 1-0 up against Crawley.

    Earlier on, Scunthorpe beat Leyton Orient 2-0 in a match that kicked-off early.

    Struggling Sheffield Wednesday giving a good account of themselves so far and Julian Borner nearly gives them the lead with a header from Barry Bannan's corner but the hosts clear it off the line.

    So, it's no wins in their last seven games for Millwall who were on their way to their sixth consecutive draw only for Blackburn to score a late winner on Wednesday.

    Bottom of the table Derby go into this on the back of two draws and are looking for consecutive league wins over Millwall for the first time since 2013.
