  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 83 min

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Omar Richards and Samba Sow get a little petulant with each other and Richards is in the book for a bit of a kick out on his opponent after the ball had gone.

Stupidly that was done right in front of Gavin Ward's eyes.

  2. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Frustration for Forest's Joe Lolley after he got clear down the left but as he tries to win possession inside the Reading box, gives away a tame free-kick.

Couple more changes for Reading as Michael Olise and Ovie Ejaria are replaced by Tomas Esteves and Sone Aluko.

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Reading have the ball in the net again, but it won't count as referee Gavin Ward spots some pushing from a Michael Olise free-kick.

His follow up attempt is cleared easily by the Forest defence.

Reading looking set then to move level on points with leaders Bournemouth with this win.

Norwich later on could go above both of them though if they beat Sheffield Wednesday later.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Reading's turn to make a change.

Former Forest loanee Alfa Semedo is on for fans' favourite Yakou Meite, who gets a warm show of appreciation for his efforts as he heads off.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Another Forest change sees Lyle Taylor make way for young striker Will Swan.

He rather appropriately made his senior debut last week against....Swansea.

  7. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

More attack v defence training-style drills for Reading as they flood forward again against Forest's 10 men.

Tom Holmes goes close with a shot and then a header from a corner and Michael Morrison almost hooks the rebound in from the six-yard box but can't get through a wall of bodies in both coloured shirts.

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

I think if this was a cricket Test match, Reading would probably have declared by now - that's how far ahead they are in the contest.

Still just over 20 minutes to go though for Forest to keep fighting and try and claw their way back in.

  12. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Reading enjoying plenty of opportunities to come forward.

Yakou Meite almost sets up Ovie Ejaria to finish, but he loses his footing as he tries to sweep it home on his right.

Takes a deflection and goes behind for a corner which comes to nothing.

  13. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Reading 2-0 Nottingham Forest

    Forest all at sea.

Reading pressing them from every loose ball and after Tobias Figuereido gets in a tangle in his own box, Lucas Joao almost nips in for his second and Reading's third goal.

Behind it goes though for a goal kick.

  14. goal

    Michael Morrison

And there is the second goal Reading have been threatening.

Centre-back Michael Morrison is the man to get it as he heads an outswinging corner into the net from the penalty spot.

Brice Samba is frozen still as he realises he has no chance of reaching that where it's headed for the opposite corner.

  15. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Reading 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Brice Samba called into action once again in the Forest goal as he has to get down low to palm away a Michael Olise shot from the edge of the box.

  16. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Reading 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Trying to correctly spell Tobias Figueiredo's name is a live text commentator's nightmare.

Even more so when he's in the thick of the action as he has been in both boxes since coming on.

He cuts out a dangerous cross in his own area as Reading again look comfortable coming forward.

  17. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Reading 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Decent tempo from Forest early in this second half.

Yuri Ribeiro makes an overlapping run down the left to force a corner.

But Forest concede a free-kick from it as the ball comes in and Tobias Figueiredo fouls Michael Morrison.
