Deary me, that's a sitter. It's an absolute sitter. That is by far Scotland's biggest chance of the evening

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

Martha Thomas has to score. Another delightful ball by Lisa Evans finds a totally unmarked Thomas in the middle of the box, but she gets the header all wrong and can't hit the target.

    What a chance.

I don't think there's a need to panic. When we start getting towards 60, 65 minutes, that's when we might think we need to change things

The attacking has been good. Probably Jen Beattie's header and Kim Little's chance are the two I would look at most

A far better first-half than we've seen in a good few games for Scotland.

  9. HALF-TIME Scotland 0-0 Finlandpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

    Honours even at the break.

Scotland have had the better of it, but have nothing to show for their efforts thus far.

  10. Thomas takes matters into her own handspublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

A great run by Martha Thomas beats everyone apart from Korpela in the Finland goal, who is out quickly to smother the ball.

Meanwhile, Finland's Oling is the first player into the book. Kim Little joins her shortly after.

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

    Gemma Fay
Former Scotland goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

That was an absolutely cracking cross. You're screaming at your centre-forward to throw themselves at it

  13. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

Lisa Evans with another dangerous ball into the box, but for some reason there's no-one on the end of it.

You'd expect a centre-forward to eat that one up.

  14. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

Just a reminder there of the threat the visitors pose on the break. All of a sudden Scotland are on the back foot and a ball is rolled across the six-yard box.

Thankfully for Scotland, no-one is there to tap it in.

  15. Postpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

Lisa Evans is looking really bright down the Scotland right. She bursts into the box and opts to cut the ball back, but that allows Finland to deal with it.

Maybe she should have taken the shot on...

  18. CLOSE!published at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

Scotland are piling the pressure on, but Finland are dealing with everything we have to offer, just like in the return fixture.

Jane Ross causes trouble down the right-hand side and tries to cut it back, but the angle is just too tight and Finland deal with it.

  19. 'More fluency' from Scotspublished at 19:46 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

    Julie Fleeting
Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

We're playing with a lot more fluency. A lot more positive than the start

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:45 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2020

It's all Scotland now. Caroline Weir's corner is met by Jen Beattie, but Finnish 'keeper Korpela gets down well to save her header.
