    Rangers are now unbeaten in 24 games this season, while Celtic have just two wins from their last 11 outings after this evening's loss in Milan.

    Celtic may have only lost once in the Premiership but they trail the Ibrox side by 11 points, with the defending champions having two games in hand.

    The top-of-the-table battle resumes on Sunday, with Rangers away to Ross County and Celtic at home to St Johnstone.

    We've been watching Rangers in Europe under Steven Gerrard for a few years now. Every time you're very confident that they will get a result. It's an incredible achievement to reach the knockouts again.

    Rangers are level on points with the Portuguese and have the better of the head-to-head, courtesy of away goals.

    That means they will finish top if they match whatever Benfica do next time.

    Moments after seeing his shot saved, Rangers skipper James Tavernier is cautioned for sliding in late as he bids to win the ball back.
