  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 68 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

    Here come those Norwich substitutions.

Kieran Dowell, Jacob Sorensen and Todd Cantwell off - Mario Vrancic, Ben Gibson and Jordan Hugill on.

A change of shape for the Canaries, who are going with three at the back.

  2. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Watford are having another series of corners.

Some of better quality than others, but all coming to nothing so far.

Ken Sema cuts the ball back and Ismaila Sarr's effort is deflected behind for a Watford corner.

    It's still one-way traffic.

  4. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Tom Cleverley barges over Todd Cantwell in midfield and the Watford midfielder is yellow-carded.

Cantwell has been very much on the periphery of the game so far.

  5. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

I'm reliably informed Norwich are wearing their 'petrol-coloured' strip but they're running on empty here.

Daniel Farke is about to make three changes - striker Jordan Hugill is one of them...

  6. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Watford have dominated the first 15 minutes of this second half.

Ismaila Sarr crosses from the right and Norwich keeper Michael McGovern pushes the ball away from his goal and is lucky it falls to a team-mate to clear.

  7. CLOSE!published at 59 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Oliver Skipp gives the ball away under pressure in his own half but Watford's Ismaila Sarr can't find Andre Gray with his ball into the box.

Gray suggests he wanted the ball to feet, but probably using slightly stronger words.

  8. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

The hosts are pressing at the right times and Norwich can't create anything of note.

Kieran Dowell gets a cross in for the Canaries but Todd Cantwell's volley is wild.

  9. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Watford have already had four corners this half but almost all of them have failed to beat the first man.

As a former winger himself, Hornets boss Xisco Munoz must be tearing his hair out.

  10. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

It's all been a but untidy from Norwich since the break.

With five substitutions at his disposal I can't imagine Daniel Farke will wait long to make changes.

  11. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Norwich full-back Jacob Sorensen looks to shepherd the ball out of play for a goal kick and Troy Deeney comes steaming in to barge him over.

No foul given but that was a proper 'welcome to Vicarage Road' from the Watford talisman.

  12. Second halfpublished at 46 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

We're back under way at Vicarage Road, with no changes from either team.

I can't see league leaders Norwich going quietly, though they've only won four of their last 17 away Boxing Day matches, losing the other 13.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2020

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

    The free-kick is overhit and that's half-time.

Ismaila Sarr's back-post finish has Watford ahead in Xisco Munoz's first game in charge.

Table-toppers Norwich have dictated play but been restricted to long-range efforts, and I've not even mentioned one of their most creative players, Todd Cantwell, yet - which tells its own story.

  16. Postpublished at 45+2 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Troy Deeney is fouled by Christoph Zimmerman and Watford have a free-kick at the very end of the first half.

Tom Cleverley will float it into the box...

  17. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45+1 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

We're into two minutes of added time at the end of this first half.

  18. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Both Watford strikers fluff their lines within a second of each other.

Kiko Femenia crosses from the right and Troy Deeney miskicks to Andre Gray, who then smashes off-target.

Norwich are on the ropes here.

  19. goal

GOAL: Watford 1-0 Norwichpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2020

    Ismaila Sarr (39 mins)

Ismaila Sarr gambles at the back post and slides the ball in for Watford!

After some patient build-up Ken Sema is allowed to put in a low cross and Sarr uses his goalscoring instinct to take advantage of sleeping Norwich left-back Jacob Sorensen to score.

That's Watford's first goal under Xisco Munoz and the Championship leaders are behind!

  20. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Watford 0-0 Norwich

Kenny McLean has a go from around 35 yards but the shot is wayward, to say the least.

For all their possession Norwich haven't created an awful lot.
