Contrasting fortunes and emotions in the top flight following this afternoon's games.
High-flying Hibs move up to second in the table after their thumping of Hamilton Accies.
Ross County are experiencing that sinking feeling, slipping to the foot of the Premiership table following defeat by a Curtis Main-inspired Aberdeen side.
FT: St Johnstone 1-2 Livingston
Livingston interim head coach David Martindale tells BBC Sportsound: "The boys have been magnificent. They’ve been magnificent all year but they’ve definitely kicked on the last couple of weeks. I couldn’t be anymore proud of them. They’ve been brilliant.
"We played the conditions slightly, we had to manage that and the park. I thought we done that really well. St Johnstone didn’t do too much to harm us in out defensive area. There wasn’t a lot in the game and I felt we managed the game really well."
On whether he will be the manager full-time: "I’ve told them I don’t want a Skoda company car, I’m looking for a Range Rover. There’s no update, I’ll maybe chat with him on Monday, I don’t know. We can put my personal business or the club’s business to the side because we’ve got a massive game coming up on Wednesday. We were in League One, and to think where we are now, we could be potentially going to Hampden in a semi-final. It’s incredible."
FT: Aberdeen 2-0 Ross County
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is full of praise of two-goal hero Curtis Main.
"This season has been frustrating for Curtis as he hasn't managed to put together enough training minutes due to issues with his hamstring and thighs," McInnes tells BBC Sportsound.
"But the last 10 days he hasn't missed any training has put it all together.
"We've not been at our best at the top end of the pitch lately, and with him coming in and the speed all around we needed that foil to link play and hold the ball and he did that really well.
"He's been itching to get in the last couple of games and he's taken his chance today."
FT: Hamilton Academical 0-4 Hibernian
Hibernian head coach Jack Ross tells BBC Sportsound: "To win the game in that manner was fantastic but also to play the way we did is really pleasing.
"We have been encouraging them to believe they are a good side and they have shown that over a consistent period.
"It's always encouraging when the goals are shared because you don't want to be overly reliant on one or two sources. We've got a continued threat in forward areas and now goals are coming from other areas and that reflects the confidence within the group."
FT: Motherwell 0-1 St Mirren
St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Sportsound: "Motherwell probably over the whole piece will be disappointed not to have taken something from the game. We've been in their shoes plenty of times this season.
"I'm delighted for the players, I'm delighted for the staff. It was a real performance about team spirit and togetherness.
"We had real quality in the first half. Second half was about grit and determination really just to get the job done."
FT: St Johnstone 1-2 Livingston
St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson tells BBC Sportsound: "We weren’t at the standard we’ve been at. We didn’t create enough chances in patterns of play to hurt Livingston.
"On the flipside, we conceded two poor goals. The second goal is really poor. We lose the ball in the middle of the the pitch where we could do better.
"I don’t think we were good enough all over the pitch today on the ball."
FT: Hamilton Accies 0-4 Hibernian
Hamilton manager Brian Rice tells BBC Scotland's Sportsound: "The first goal is crucial, especially in games we're involved in.
"And I've expressed that to the boys in the past few weeks. To concede a cheap penalty, when there's no need to do it, it set us back and put Hibs on the front foot.
"But I thought we weathered the storm after that but yet another cheap goal before half-time left us with a mountain to climb.
"I've got six first-team players, who would normally have started this game, missing. That's massive for me and we don't have the biggest of squads as it is.
"Today we played against a ruthless Hibs team - when they got into a position to score goals, then they scored.
"With the half chances we did get, we didn't work their keeper enough. There's no doubt that we've got guys in the team who can win games.
"If we play like we did in spells today, we'll win games."

Quote MessageIt was a cruise for Hibs and so easy for them. The way Hibs approached it, especially from the wide areas, created chance after chance. They scored four goals and could have had more
Curtis Main strikes in each half to end Aberdeen's four-match winless run and send Ross County bottom of the Premiership.
The visitors had their chances but have now taken just two points from the last 27.
A late flurry from Motherwell cannot overturn the score as St Mirren hold out for a victory that takes them from bottom to 10th place in the Scottish Premiership. Well stay fifth.
Jamie McGrath got the all important goal while Jak Alnwick impressed between the sticks for the visitors.
I must admit, after that first half I thought we would have been lucky to get one goal from this game never mind three!
Nevertheless, what a huge win that is for David Martindale. The win maintains his 100% record as interim boss as Livingston end St Johnstone's 11-game unbeaten run.
Was that the last chance for the hosts?
