Aberdeen hold a deserved lead, but despite all their possession and control chances have been at a premium. County have changed their shape, and should have levelled through Billy Mckay on the stroke of half-time. The Staggies may be down, but they are certainly not out of things here in the Granite City.
Aberdeen deservedly lead through Curtis Main's close-range strike in the fifth minute.
But County should have nicked an equaliser right on half-time when Billy McKay glanced over from six yards.
The first half ends with a fierce drive from the right by Christopher Long testing St Mirren goalkeeper Jak Alnwick to preserve the visitors' lead.
The Buddies are ahead through Jamie McGrath and have created the more clear cut chances so far.
It's been all Hibs and the visitors have a comfortable lead at the interval thanks to a Martin Boyle penalty and a header from Christian Doidge.
Aside from a near-post Chris Kane header that crashed off the Livingston bar, it's been a half to forget at McDiarmid Park.
As it stands, St Johnstone's unbeaten run will extend to 12 games, but they will have to do more at the top end of the pitch to claim all three points.
