David Moyes is on a six-match winning streak in the Premier League against teams managed by Sam Allardyce.

It is shaping up to be a thrilling title race and the unpredictability of the Premier League so far is one of the things we can look forward to continuing in the second half of the season.

You could argue a case for four or five teams to win it, and it is wide open - I can't remember it ever being as compact, with so few points separating the top teams at this stage, as it is this year.

  3. Snodgrass not playing due to 'agreement'published at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2021

West Ham v West Brom (18:00 GMT)

    West Bromwich Albion

No Robert Snodgrass tonight and West Brom boss Sam Allardyce says that is because of an agreement as part of the terms of his move from West Ham.

Allardyce told BT Sport: "That was an agreement between the clubs that this game he would not be allowed to play. We could only get the deal done with that agreement."

West Brom are looking to make it two wins from two as they look to get out of trouble and Allardyce added: "Two in a row is rare when you are struggling at the bottom of the league but two in a row makes a massive difference when you are in the position you are in.

"A good result needs to follow with another one to build confidence and hopefully that happens tonight."

West Ham v West Brom (18:00 GMT)

West Ham can win their opening four competitive matches of a calendar year for the first time since 1958. They have won 1-0 in all three of their fixtures in 2021.

They have also taken 18 points from their past 10 league games, the fourth-best record in the division.

West Brom, meanwhile, have taken four points from a possible 15 under new boss Sam Allardyce.

They are unbeaten in three away league matches though - one shy of their Premier League club record.

But they have gone 10 matches without a top-flight away clean sheet, dating back to April 2018.
