Real Madrid 2-0 Granada
Real Madrid 2-0 Granada
Real Madrid are level on points with Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga.
After an uninspiring first half, a Casemiro header and a low 20-yard strike from Karim Benzema in second-half injury-time give Real the victory.
Karim Benzema
That's that.
Karim Benzema gets his eighth La Liga goal of the season. Granada push men forward looking for an unlikely draw but they've left themselves short at the back.
A quick Real break gives it to Benzema, he shoots low, back across the keeper, from 20 yards out, it goes through the legs of Luis Milla and into the net.
Three more points for Real.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Marco Asensio, who has had a good game since replacing the injured Rodrygo after 38 minutes, has the space and ability to run at the Granada defence. He gets it on to his left foot but can't hit the target, over.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Four minutes of additional time for Real to see this one out.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
A free-kick on the left and this could be Granada's last chance to steal a point. Luis Milla takes the set piece and it's met by a header from substitute German Sanchez, who sends it well over the top.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
A rare chance for the visitors. It falls to Yangel Herrera 12 yards out but his glancing header does not even trouble Thibaut Courtois and it's well wide.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Can Granada snatch something here? It's been a poor game, devoid of excitement, but could there be a late twist?
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Dani Carvajal is just a bit late with an attempted clearance and catches the foot of Carlos Neva and that's yellow for the Real defender. The free-kick is taken close to the left flank, but Granada have not looked threatening all day and waste this chance by sending it too long.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
A couple of changes for Real as Isco and Vinicius Jr come on for Federico Valverde and the impressive Lucas Vazquez.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
A shot from Granada's Yangel Herrera bounces off Casemiro and we have a potential penalty check for handball, but the video assistant says no and it's as you were.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Been a very comfortable evening for Thibaut Courtois in the Real Madrid goal so far. It will be his fourth clean sheet in six games if he keeps the shutout going.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
A second would finish the game off. Lucas Vazquez tries to find it but can't keep a 20-yard strike down.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Raphael Varane gets his head to a right-wing corner, but he's about 15 yards out and can't get enough power in the neck muscles and the ball is comfortably collected by away keeper Rui Silva.
Real Madrid 1-0 Granada
Real have a chance for a second and Lucas Vazquez plays a lovely-weighted give-and-go with Karim Benzema, Vazquez's next touch takes him clear of a sliding defender but the ball bounces up off his shin and away just as he was ready to shoot.
Casemiro
Breakthrough.
Marco Asensio has made an impact since coming on and he crosses from the left and Casemiro rises superbly to send a bullet header into the net from six yards out.

A flick from Marco Asensio hits the foot of the post, Rui Silva then saves a shot and Karim Benzema shoots over.
Real Madrid 0-0 Granada
Better from Real Madrid as Dani Carvajal bursts forward from right back and wins a corner, but Real play it short and Granada defend it well.
Real Madrid 0-0 Granada
Lucas Vazquez tries to inject some quality into this one and he cuts in from the right wing and gets the ball on to his left foot, but there's far too much on the delivery and it goes harmlessly out of play.
