Adam Armstrong (10 mins)
Birmingham's problems continue at St Andrew's but Adam Armstrong's hot streak in front of goal also continues for Blackburn.
He gets on the end of a ball over the top down the left-hand side and is right on the money to slot the ball past Neil Etheridge for the opener and his 16th league goal this season.
Preston 0-0 Nottingham Forest
Big early chance for struggling Forest as Anthony Knockaert smashes a decent opportunity over the crossbar.
Norwich City 0-0 Barnsley

Lucky escape for the league leaders.
Swansea 0-0 Watford
Decent early chance for the hosts as Connor Roberts flashes a cross across the face of goal that Korey Smith can't quite get enough on to convert.
Fraizer Campbell (6 mins)
And a terrific start for the in-form-at-home Huddersfield too.
They are ahead early doors against Reading thanks to Fraizer Campbell's header from Isaac Mbenza's cross from the right.
Rafael in the Reading goal rooted to his line as it went in.
Uche Ikpeazu (2 mins)
Great start for the Chairboys!
Big striker Uche Ikpeazu shows good feet, and maybe gets a bit of luck, to drift in off the right edge of the area and curl in a lovely left-footed finish.
His first goal for the club.
Right then - let's get this going!
Action has begun in the matches that have survived postponements left, right and centre.

Preston v Nottingham Forest (15:00 GMT)
Nottingham Forest's run of four games unbeaten is their joint best run of form this season.
Unfortunately, as with the last time they avoided defeat four games in a row, three of them have been draws and despite not losing Chris Hughton's men have slipped back into the bottom three.
The face a Preston side who have found results easier to come by on the road than at home but did win their last game of 2020 at Deepdale with a 2-0 win over Coventry on Tuesday.
Huddersfield v Reading (15:00 GMT)
Reading's form might have dropped off after their excellent start to the campaign but the Royals start today just four points off second-placed Brentford.
However, their opponents today might just have some quiet play-off aspirations of their own.
Huddersfield are looking for a sixth straight home win and a win for them could see them end the day just three points adrift of the top six.
Swansea City v Watford (15:00 GMT)
Third faces fifth at the Liberty Stadium as Swansea entertain Watford.
The Swans missed out on the chance to narrow the deficit to leaders Norwich to two points as Reading held them to a goalless draw on Wednesday night.
Steve Cooper's side are still unbeaten in their past three and remain in touch with the top two.
Watford have once again rung a managerial change lately with Xisco Munoz replacing Vladimir Ivic just before Christmas.
He began his tenure with a well-fought win against leaders Norwich on Boxing Day before their fixture with Millwall on Tuesday was postponed.
Can Spaniard Munoz keep Watford in the hunt for the top two with another victory in South Wales?
Norwich City v Barnsley (15:00 GMT)
Norwich saw their lead at the top of the Championship reduced to three points in the last round of fixtures after they were held to a draw at home against QPR.
That came off the back of a narrow defeat at Watford on Boxing Day that has somewhat slowed their promotion charge.
They host a Barnsley side who start the afternoon in eighth and just three points off the play-off places after five wins from their past six matches.
Can Valerien Ismael continue to work his magic at Carrow Road and put a dent in the Canaries title bid?
