Spurs now 5-1 up on aggregate, done and dusted yeh?

Harry Winks has a go from 25 yards out with his weaker left boot but it is never going to trouble the goalkeeper.

    Dele Alli

    Ooof, what a beauty!

We saw a delightful overhead kick from Olivier Giroud last night but Dele Alli has scored an even better one today.

Spurs work a swift move and Matt Doherty finds the Englishman on the penalty spot, Alli takes a touch with his back to goal and it bounces up nicely for him to leap into the London air and smack a superb acrobatic finish into the bottom corner.

Paul Collins: I dont get why Spurs are playing today. Especially given Arsenal are playing their "home" game in Greece. It makes sense if Arsenal were playing actually at home at the Emirates against Benfica but they aren't!

Yes it's all very complicated, Paul.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho tells BT Sport: "We want to win the match, if somebody tells us now we quality with a draw or lose 1-0, 2-1 and go through, we don't want that. We want to win, play well and give confidence to the boys who are working hard. We need a team now more than ever because of the bad results but especially because of what is waiting for us in March, including five Premier League matches, two Europa League - hopefully - and three national team matches.

"The bench says everything, half of the bench is emergency plan, Harry Kane, Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min, Tanguy Ndombele and the other half is those who have never played in the first-team. The Europa League is important since day one, we have played 10 matches so big effort to be here and hopefully we qualify, the Premier League is not over but every one of the 16 teams in the Europa League will dream about it.

"Dane Scarlett is training with us everyday, he is only 16 but almost belongs to our squad. He played in the Europa League, one minute in the Premier League and for the other kids it is a good opportunity for them to come. We want to win the match, it is not the moment to put the kids, we have to put them in the right occasion."

This is the size of the task on Wolfsberger's hands today...

No team in Uefa Cup or Europa League history have overturned a three-goal deficit from the first leg at home to progress.

Jose needs to be given next season too, assuming he will be backed with quality defenders in the summer. This is a Covid season and obviously not normal with no fans and some clubs are responding better than others. BUT he must be backed and that's what I have the biggest doubts about given our owners.

They last won five in a row at home in Europe between August 2013 and February 2014.
