It is all to play for at Pittodrie after a lively first half. Aberdeen have been the dominant side, with all the possession and threat but they have nothing to show for it so far, reminiscent of when the sides met at Tannadice earlier in the season.

United may have had to soak up all the pressure, but they have had the best chance of the game so far, and will certainly feel they can take something out of this game.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon told Sky Sports: "Bitterly disappointed. We were the better team and I think the referee has made the wrong decision and had changed the game. It's not a sending off, it's a foul, it's not a clear goalscoring opportunity. He might get a shot off but he's certainly not clean through on goal.

"I'm really proud of the performance. I thought we were outstanding. Up until the red card we were in total control. We got done by a pretty poor referee decision. I think he was poor all day.

"We were really unfortunate with the goal as well. Our goalkeeper has had nothing to do today.

"We've got to keep going, keep our heads together, be consistent, and be disciplined. We've proved today we're still in there fighting but we've a long way to go now."

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard tells Sky Sports: "It's another big three points, another clean sheet. I'm proud of the players in terms of their efforts. First half we weren't good enough, we weren't ourselves, we were second best. I thought there was a massive improvement in the second half.

"Obviously the sending off is a major incident in the game and it looked like there was only going to be one team to win it from there.

"[At half-time] I just ask them how much they wanted to win a derby. If you want to win a derby, especially here at Ibrox, when you're protecting our stadium and our supporters, you can't be second best. You can't be passive, you have to let Celtic know they're in a game.

"We were outstanding in the cup final not so long ago and got nothing for it. It's about the result. We stretch our lead, we remain humble, and we move on to Aberdeen now."

Keith Lasley's first game as Motherwell caretaker reaches half-time with his side a goal behind in the Lanarkshire derby.

The former Well midfielder had stepped up from assistant after Stephen Robinson's midweek resignation.

But his side fell behind when Lee Hodson fired Accies ahead early in the first half and that's the way it has stayed despite the visitors having most of the pressure.

The only good news for Hibernian is that they are only two goals down. It could have been more.

Livi are heading for seven wins from seven since David Martindale took over.

Hibs, who have been simply woeful, are looking at a third successive defeat.

Lawrence Shankland's thunderous shot off the bar is as close as either side have come. It's also the only time Dundee United have been anywhere near Aberdeen's goal. The home side have had most of the play, but haven't come very close to scoring.

A decent move from Aberdeen ends with Ryan Hedges dragging a shot just wide of the post.

Kilmarnock continue to have the upper hand at Rugby Park.

Greg Kiltie has a low shot towards the far post tipped wide. From the corner, Alan Power puts an effort just past.

So close for Motherwell. Jack Carroll sends one of those dangerous free-kicks that often miss everyone and curl in at the back post.

However, goalkeeper Kyle Gourlay reacts at the last minute to palm wide for a corner.

It's still all Aberdeen at Pittodrie, but they lack a cutting edge. Almost a carbon copy of the goalless draw between the sides earlier this season at Tannadice.
