    Chelsea 2-1 Luton

The Blues look to restore their two-goal cushion but Christian Pulisic curls his effort from range over the bar.

They're showing the Luton goal again on BBC One. That Kepa attempted save doesn't get any better. Poor body shape and biscuit wrists.

They have changed shape and become braver in possession. It's good build up, he does well on the half volley but Kepa has to do better - a keeper of his standards should be saving that. Credit to Nathan Jones for changing the shape.

    Now then.

Let's be honest here, Kepa is partly at fault for this. Not the first time that has been said.

But fair play to Luton. They've hardly been in this game but now they must certainly are.

It is a well worked goal too. The ball is worked out right and crossed in by James Bree for Jordan Clark to hit a first-time shot that eludes the grasp of the Chelsea keeper and finds the net.

    Game on.

    Chelsea 2-0 Luton

Should be 3-0. A Werner dummy gives Pulisic a clear sight of goal but Sluga is equal to it, saving with his boot. The shot was straight at him, though.

Luton have gone to a back four as it wasn't working. They've got to stay in it, get some set plays and use the pace of Harry Cornick up top.

Luton just can't get a kick here.

Zouma has a bit of a limp but I think he's gonna be OK to carry on. Run it off lad.

    Chelsea 2-0 Luton

Is Kurt Zouma in bother here? He is down and in need of treatment after a coming together with a Luton player.

    Chelsea 2-0 Luton

Chelsea are gonna get a bag full here. Pulisic drives over a low cross that a diving Luton player has to put behind.

The corner comes to nothing, but the home side quickly recover possession and start again.

It is a really good goal, they are really starting to find their rhythm. All to feet, pop, pop, pop and get the get cross in. Tammy Abraham was alert to get in and dink it over Simon Sluga.

    Chelsea 2-0 Luton

Luton try to fashion something down the right through James Bree and he wins his side their first corner.

It is taken short and then swung in for Harry Cornick to meet but head powerfully over the bar.

  13. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 2-0 Lutonpublished at 16 mins

    Tammy Abraham

Make that 10 goals for the season.

Chelsea have completely dominated the opening stages and they give themselves an iron grip on the game as Reece James' chipped cross is nodded in over Sluga by Abraham.

    This could get messy.

By letter of the law, two balls on the pitch , that goal shouldn't stand . VAR should've been used for it . Another big team get another decision

Chelsea come forward again. The ball is swung into the box and nodded down by Christian Pulisic, but a Luton player is there first to hammer away.

I liked this from Tammy Abraham, he just peeled off, no one picked him up. A tidy finish, no need to lash it, and it's a really good start from Chelsea.

    Chelsea 1-0 Luton

Luton weren't happy that there were two balls on the pitch at the start of the move that ended in the goal. The referee clearly doesn't think it hampered either side, though. Might have been a distraction, but it was in the other half of the pitch and you can't switch off.

  18. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Lutonpublished at 11 mins

    Tammy Abraham

Chelsea step it up a gear and Luton can't cope.

A quick throw releases Werner behind the visitors' defence and the German's pull back is perfect for Tammy Abraham to side-foot in his ninth goal of the season. Fine finish.

    That'll settle any home nerves.

Kurt Zouma is the big threat from corners. He rises to meet the first one of the match but nods over.

    Chelsea 0-0 Luton

Sluga is again swiftly off his line to deny Abraham. The Chelsea striker gets a touch on the edge of the box but the keeper comes out on top with a firm sliding tackle. It was a quality threaded ball through the defence to release Abraham by Hatem Ziyech.

Shortly after, Mason Mount sees an effort deflected over by Sonny Bradley.
