  2. A bad weekendpublished at 17:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2021

Sheffield United v West Brom (18:00 GMT)

It really wasn't a good weekend for the teams in the bottom three, which includes Sheffield United and West Brom

The gap to safety grew with Brighton's victory over Tottenham and Newcastle's win over Everton.

It leaves Chris Wilder's side 13 points away, while West Brom are nine points off Brighton.

With over half the season gone, it's worrying times for both clubs. This is a MUST-WIN game.

  8. Loans dominate & spending fallspublished at 16:55 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2021

To say transfer deadline day was quiet would be an understatement. Late attention centred around whether Bournemouth's Joshua King would opt for Everton or Fulham, and whether Southampton would seal a loan for Liverpool's Takumi Minamino.

In the end, Norway striker King chose Everton while Saints landed Japan forward Minamino as both deals were confirmed in the early hours of this morning.

They may not go down as the most exciting 'after-hours' signings we've seen but were pretty much as intriguing as it got for hardcore followers of the window, with caution rather than drama dominating the last day of trading.

Just three permanent deals were completed by Premier League clubs, and double that number of loan moves.

Here's a round up of what happened.

Team news from the two early games will be dropping in around 10 minutes.

Sheffield United's Oli McBurnie could start, while West Brom could give a first start to loan signing Mbaye Diagne.

Grady Diangana was due to be assessed before the game. Will he make it?

Elsewhere, Wolves have no fresh injury concerns, while Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could return.

Bukayo Saka and Kieran Tierney were major doubts because of respective hip and calf problems.

It was drama all day yesterday wasn't it?

Ha, who are we kidding! It was a quiet transfer deadline day but we're straight back to a busy schedule of Premier League football tonight.

Four games in total, including a huge battle at the bottom between Sheffield United and West Brom. One boss could be heading home with three points, another with a bottle of wine. Who knows?
