If Chelsea get the next goal before half-time this game is over as I can't see Tottenham getting back into it. Tottenham have been lacklustre. It is too slow from them.

Tottenham have had 28% possession so far.

Chelsea deserved that goal. Spurs have done nothing but sit back - now they will actually have to show some ambition. They have certainly shown none so far.

What is Dier doing? It is a penalty. Dier knows Werner is ahead of him, but Alderweireld is there and there was no need to catch him. It was poor from Dier.

Tottenham fans get frustrated because they were set up like they were going to concede and then they get going. Why can't they start on the front foot? If there were fans in here, they would be going mad.

It is what Chelsea have deserved. Tottenham have been poor. I don't know if the manager has said to Jorginho, 'you are the penalty taker'.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was sitting in his seat and not really looking towards the penalty, but jumped up and punched the air when Jorginho converted it.

One-way traffic in this match so far and another Chelsea goal will cause Jose Mourinho and Tottenham huge problems.

Eric Dier slides in and hits the deck, cannot get the ball and Timo Werner gets a nick on the ball before being kicked from behind by Dier on the ground.

Syed Nadeem: Whatever the firepower, Mourinho has always been park the bus manager.. Never had any flair any time. Spurs fan expectation must be same when they appointed him as their manager.. No surprise or nothing out of normal!!

The way the contest has gone so far, you feel both managers will be pleased with how it is going.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho will be happy his side are solid and have not concede, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will be happy that his side are asking all the questions.

Spurs make a rare foray forward, Tanguy Ndombele looks to put in a cross but ends up smacking a left-footed strike from the angle straight at Edouard Mendy.

Edouard Mendy is not happy with what he feels is a flat ball.

Referee Andre Mariner comes over, gives it a squeeze to check the PSI and decides a new one is needed.

Jose will be worried as it's only a matter of time before Chelsea take the lead on the evidence that we have seen so far.

With all the attacking threat that Tottenham possess, they are sitting back almost like a public transport vehicle has been parked in front of the goal.

Must be so frustrating for a Spurs fan.
