Niall Davey: It's getting to the point now that I'm genuinely embarrassed being a Spurs fan. We offer absolutely nothing.

BenFides: Not sure what was going on at Spurs at the start of the season - Mourinho must have forgotten himself for a few weeks - but they're back to where they left off last season. Painful to watch. Shame.

David Whale: Spurs may not have won trophies under Poch but at least they were great to watch. Now we are just Dier to watch...pun intended.

Penalty was to Chelsea, of course.

I'm being told the reporting = dire.

    Fair.

The physio has come on to check on Thiago Silva but it looks like he is done for the night and a nervy wait to see how long he will be out for.

Oh no, Chelsea have a problem here with Thiago Silva down on the turf and he has not moved after stretching full length to cut out a Spurs pass.

If Chelsea get the next goal before half-time this game is over as I can't see Tottenham getting back into it. Tottenham have been lacklustre. It is too slow from them.

Chelsea deserved that goal. Spurs have done nothing but sit back - now they will actually have to show some ambition. They have certainly shown none so far.

Jorginho has scored eight of his 10 penalties in the Premier League.

    That's 80%, quick maths.

What is Dier doing? It is a penalty. Dier knows Werner is ahead of him, but Alderweireld is there and there was no need to catch him. It was poor from Dier.

Tottenham fans get frustrated because they were set up like they were going to concede and then they get going. Why can't they start on the front foot? If there were fans in here, they would be going mad.

It is what Chelsea have deserved. Tottenham have been poor. I don't know if the manager has said to Jorginho, 'you are the penalty taker'.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was sitting in his seat and not really looking towards the penalty, but jumped up and punched the air when Jorginho converted it.

One-way traffic in this match so far and another Chelsea goal will cause Jose Mourinho and Tottenham huge problems.

No slow hop this time, Jorginho runs up and smashes it to the right of Hugo Lloris.

Into the side-netting, an excellent penalty and Chelsea get a deserved lead.

Syed Nadeem: Whatever the firepower, Mourinho has always been park the bus manager.. Never had any flair any time. Spurs fan expectation must be same when they appointed him as their manager.. No surprise or nothing out of normal!!

    Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea

The way the contest has gone so far, you feel both managers will be pleased with how it is going.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho will be happy his side are solid and have not concede, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will be happy that his side are asking all the questions.

Hugo Lloris is yet to make a save though.

Must be so frustrating for a Spurs fan.
