    • Millwall end their 11-game winless home run with a 4-1 thumping of Sheffield Wednesday.
    • Rotherham and Nottingham Forest give their survival hopes a boost with wins over Preston and Wycombe respectively
    • QPR beat Blackburn, while Luton drew 1-1 with Huddersfield and Stoke-Reading was goalless.

    Well, since it was rebranded as the Championship in 2004, Glenn Murray's 30 goals for Crystal Palace in 2012-13 is the record.

    Ivan Toney currently has 22.

    Cardiff get their first win under Mick McCarthy thanks to first-half goals from Curtis Nelson and Kieffer Moore.

    It's a dent to Bristol City's promotion hopes, and they were pretty toothless throughout this game.

    Preston will wonder how this game got away from them but Rotherham continue to fight their way out of trouble under Paul Warne with a third straight away win.

    Joe Rafferty's own goal inside a minute gave them the lead and Ben Wiles added a second.

    Not even Ched Evans' effort for North End could close down the visitors, who get three big points.

    QPR 1-0 Blackburn

    Blackburn tried their best in the closing stages, but it was Mark Warburton's side who took home the three points to record their fourth win in five games.

    Rangers are now up to 16th after that result, while Rovers sit eighth, six points off the playoffs.

    A rather dull afternoon as Stoke now have just one win in 14.

    Stoke sit in 10th, with Reading in fourth.

    Neither side had any brilliant chances, and it's one to forget as the points are shared in the only goalless game of the afternoon in the Championship.

    A comfortable victory for Chris Hughton's Forest which lifts them to 18th - four points clear of the drop zone.

    A Glenn Murray brace and Anthony Knockaert rocket did the trick against an off-colour Wycombe.

    The Chairboys are nine points adrift at the bottom.

    Glen Rea heads against the post at the death for Luton but they have to settle for a draw.

    Huddersfield had Harry Toffolo sent off in stoppage time and have their second 1-1 draw in a row after Naby Sarr's goal cancelled out James Collins' opener.

    Big second half for Millwall turns it round and hands them a first home win in 12 games.

    After Wednesday went in front through Callum Paterson, the Lions scored four without reply through Kenneth Zohore, Scott Malone, Ben Thompson and Mahlon Romeo.

    That's 20 unbeaten now for Brentford, after a big 4-1 win at Middlesbrough.

    Ivan Toney gets two, to add to goals from Vitaly Janelt and Mathias Jensen.

    Boro can feel hard done by, they were excellent at times having taken the early on thanks to Ethan Pinnock's own-goal.
