    Preston 1-2 Rotherham

Credit to Rotherham, they seem to have wrested control back from Preston after Ched Evans pulled one back.

Lewis Wing, recently acquired on loan from Middlesbrough, is enjoying the chance to spread his proverbial wings at the Millers. Having a real influence with the ball in midfield.

    Stoke 0-0 Reading

We're into the closing stages of the game now with both sides attempting to pile on the pressure as they search for the opening goal of the afternoon.

  10. goal

GOAL: Middlesbrough 1-4 Brentfordpublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    Ivan Toney (80 mins)

Middlesbrough haven't played badly at all, but Brentford have found a real ruthless streak in their bid to make it 20 games unbeaten in the Championship.

Ivan Toney gets his second, turning in Bryan Mbeumo's cross in a really scruffy fashion, after Rico Henry's thumping hit was turned onto the bar by Marcus Bettinelli.

  11. Postpublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    Bristol City 0-2 Cardiff

Harry Wilson is toying with Bristol City this afternoon and fancies a goal as he continues to probe away.

His latest effort was a searing run and shot which doesn't truly trouble Daniel Bentley in the Robins goal.

  12. Postpublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    Luton 1-1 Huddersfield

    Goals change games.

Since levelling Huddersfield look the better side, with Duane Holmes denied by Luton keeper Simon Sluga and Sonny Bradley scrambling over his own bar.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    Middlesbrough 1-3 Brentford

Brentford's David Raya makes another telling stop after George Saville rattles a shot at him in the 18-yard box.

Neeskens Kebano clipped a ball in, having lost his footing, Brentford in the cloying mud cannot clear and Saville snapped a shot but it's well blocked.

Keeping footing has been difficult, it looks like quite a few players are Bambi on ice, but more like Bambi on sludge.

GOAL: Bournemouth 3-2 Birminghampublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    Philip Billing (76 mins)

A fifth goal in Dorset and Bournemouth are back ahead!

An Arnaut Danjuma free-kick is whipped in with venom and somehow Philip Billing is allowed to wonder to the back post unmarked to prod home.

GOAL: Luton 1-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    Naby Sarr (74 mins)

Huddersfield are back on level terms!

Home keeper Simon Sluga is unsighted from Juninho Bacuna's free-kick and can only parry it into the path of Naby Sarr, who taps in for the Terriers.

Carlos Corberan's side have deserved that.

    It had been coming.

  20. CLOSE!published at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February 2021

    QPR 1-0 Blackburn

The visitors have responded well to going behind, making a triple sub not too long ago in their bid to level things up.

Seny Dieng has been brilliant so far in goal for QPR this afternoon, and he's just produced another couple of excellent saves.

He kept out Lewis Holtby's shot before Rob Dickie threw himself in front of the rebound to deny Adam Armstrong's curling effort from 25 yards out with a wonderful stop high to Dieng's left.
