    Rotherham 1-1 Cardiff

Josh Murphy passes up a belting chance for Cardiff, after he was set away by a raking long ball right down the middle.

The first touch was a cute one on the side of his boot, a kind riccochet off a Rotherham defender dropped it into his path but the attempt at a little dinked lob sliced wildly over.

    Snow is tumbling down now...

  2. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Wycombe

The chances keep on coming for Sheffield Wednesday.

Callum Paterson firstly sees his header saved by Ryan Allsop before goalscorer Jordan Rhodes' effort from outside the area is straight at the Wycombe keeper.

    25 minutes to go.

  3. League One latestpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

Promotion-chasing Portsmouth are 2-0 up against Swindon, thanks to Ellis Harrison's penalty kick.

MK Dons have scored three quickfire goals to take control 4-1 at Rochdale.

Cameron Jerome the latest scorer, after Zak Jules and Scott Fraser had put the Dons ahead.

    Matt Crooks (61 mins)

How will Cardiff rue those missed chances now?!

Rotherham go level, lovely work down the right releases Michael Smith, and he bends the perfect cross, right into that 'corridor of uncertainty' between goalkeeper and defence...

Up pops Matt Crooks at the back stick to guide in. Well, well, well.

Can't keep a good team down.

  5. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Wycombe

The hosts are hunting a second goal.

Barry Bannan bursts into the box and shoots, but Ryan Allsop makes the save.

The Owls will want to kill this game quickly.

  6. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff

Cardiff should be putting this game to bed.

This time Kieffer Moore guides his header right down the throat of Viktor Johansson. Will Vaulks just coaxes a curling cross into the six yard box, it was a super delivery.

After all that, Josh Ralls is limping away from the box. Is he coming off permanently?

  7. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Wycombe

Tom Lees has an effort for Sheffield Wednesday from inside the box but it's comfortably saved by Ryan Allsop. Other than that it's been a quiet opening to the second half at Hillsborough with three points so crucial for both sides.

Wycombe would probably take a point right now.

As it stands they'll remain 12 points from safety at the bottom.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff

Snow is flurrying around the ground, it doesn't look much fun out there.

Meanwhile, Cardiff have replaced goalscorer Sheyi Ojo with Josh Murphy.

  9. League One latestpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

What a hit from Joe Ward, a goal worthy of giving any club the lead from a set-piece.

Peterborough are in front after he whipped it in to make it 2-1 against Ipswich.

Shrewsbury have equalised against Sunderland too, Ethan Ebanks-Landell finishing off after ex-Middlesbrough striker Curtis Main's header bounced up.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff

No time for Rotherham keeper Viktor Johansson to get his eye in tonight, as Cardiff come out firing again in the second-half.

Will Vaulks again heaving a throw into the box, it bobbled out to Harry Wilson whose shot was blocked and looped to Sean Morrison.

The Bluebirds skipper lashed his shot and it looked goalbound until a big hand from Johansson guided it high over the top.

    Big save.

All over the country players are jogging out with grimaces on their faces, thinking: "Just what are we doing?!"

    Anyway, second-halves are back underway.

    • Scunthorpe had to abandon their home game with Bradford before half-time because of the worsening conditions. It was 0-0 at the time.

  13. League One half-time headlinespublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    HT: Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff

Sheyi Ojo gave Cardiff a lead they might feel lucky to have in that first period, after Rotherham had some excellent chances.

But for the goalkeeping of Dillon Phillips, the Millers could well have been ahead.

Instead, one snappy counter-attack later, they trail. Big 45 minutes to come if the home side are to continue their revival. Or will the wily Mick McCarthy enjoy another big win?

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Wycombe

Wycombe have responded well since going a goal behind.

Adebayo Akinfenwa had a header saved by Keiren Westwood and Nnamdi Ofoborh sent a free-kick wide.

But it's Sheffield Wednesday who lead at the break through Jordan Rhodes' header.

    Rotherham 0-1 Cardiff

Rotherham with a positive response to going a goal down.

Millers work a short corner on the edge of the Cardiff box and it's swung into the back post where Richard Wood is lurking but it's nodded behind.

The resulting corner goes back into the mix, but a free-kick goes Cardiff's way.

    Sheyi Ojo (42 mins)

Cool as you like from Sheyi Ojo, as Cardiff suckerpunch Rotherham with a classic counter.

The Millers were attacking, with Michael Smith laying off to a teammate on the edge of the box but instead Harry Wilson pounces, strides forward and slides a perfect pass - gorgeously weighted - into space for Ojo to yomp forward.

He draws the goalkeeper Viktor Johanssen and slides it near post into the corner.

    Lovely finish.

If Sheffield Wednesday go on to win this game they'll move outside the Championship relegation zone.

Points deductions and a terrible run before Christmas haven't helped, but it's some turnaround under interim boss Neil Thompson.
