Another surging run from Michael Smith for Rotherham results in a sizzler from the edge of the box which has Dillon Phillips sprawling to claw away.

It's banged behind, and the result corner was viciously swung under Phillips' crossbar but he punched it away and gets a free-kick for his trouble after pressure.

Rotherham flexing their muscles a bit here as tempers flare.

Walsall's lead didn't last long. Ollie Clarke puts Nigel Clough's Mansfield level, just after the half-hour mark at the Banks's Stadium.

A lovely lofted ball from Dan Barlaser is clipped into the Cardiff box, and it breaks to Rotherham striker Michael Smith on the edge of the six-yard box, but the ball just won't drop for the forward and it's smuggled clear.

That was a very good chance. Just couldn't get the shot off.

Set-piece opportunity goes Rotherham's way but after Dan Barlaser dinked the cross to the back-post, Michael Smith climbed over the back of his marker and gave away a free-kick.

Chance passes.

Rotherham have tested out Cardiff's defensive mettle, with the direct running of Ben Wiles resulting in a snapshot blocked.

Matty Crooks and Michael Smith have combined a couple of times, but the three-man defensive unit of the Bluebirds has largely been untroubled.
