How are Derby County behind? They were dominating the game, Forest looked sluggish and passive.

Then, one chance on the edge of the box later, James Garner has his first goal and totally against the flow, Forest are in front.

The Rams also lost their keeper David Marshall to injury, and the visitors are visibly buoyed and energised by the goal.

Still plenty of time to go though.

Derby swamping the Forest box but Jason Knight's shot is blocked, and Tobias Figueiredo heads another cross clear.

Forest get the second ball after a throw is cleared and a snap shot from James Garner bounces awkwardly toward Kelle Roos and the Dutchman spills.

The loose ball trickles tantalisingly but Roos smothers the rebound.

Nearly a second.

Anthony Knockaert swings it in with pace and depth but Matt Clarke is first to it for the Rams and powers clear.

The throw is cleared.

Into three minutes of added time.

Forest get the ball forward to Filip Krovinovic and he's bundled clumsily by Andre Wisdom.

Edge of the box, left-side. Danger.

Nathan Byrne cleared loosely for Derby and it was picked up 30 yards out by Forest's Anthony Knockaert, who quickly zipped a shot away.

It's well wide, and Kelle Roos' first job is to set a goal-kick.

David Marshall is off. Injury. Blow for Derby. Kelle Roos is on.

Wonder if the injury played a part in the goal? You'd have backed him to save the shot. Marshall seems to be holding his back and has gone down the tunnel for treatment.

Wayne Rooney's jaws are working overtime on the slab of gum which he is chewing in angst after his Derby side conceded.

The Rams boss has another conundrum to worry about now in goalkeeper David Marshall, who has sought some treatment.

Derby, seeking to play those neat one-touch passes in midfield which they had been doing until the Forest goal, are now finding a opponent that seems to have woken up in that area.

Ball is tossed forward toward Colin Kazim-Richards, who is muscled out by the Forest defence and Brice Samba claims it.

Joe Worrall is playing a cracking target man role from set-pieces, again nodding into the Derby mixer and causing panic.

It's cleared.

Forest on the front foot now.

Derby rattled by that, go hunting for the ball and Martyn Waghorn puts a foot in on Cafu.

Free-kick to Forest.

Nathan Byrne has two cracks of the whip for Derby to put in a decent delivery, but both are dealt with in the event.

Cafu has looked a bit off the pace so far for Forest, but wins a free-kick.

Cyrus Christie bends a pass into the right channel for Forest and Luke Freeman tracks it but his cross is stubbed behind.

Forest's corner is cleared.

Derby work the ball between the lines, Nathan Byrne feeds the ball into Kamil Jozwiak, who angles his run toward goal and then fires a shot which whips off defender Joe Worrall and out.

Corner ensues. Derby have Matt Clarke off the field having his nose attended to. Took a whack. He'll be a miss for the Rams at this set-piece.

Glimmer of a chance for Forest as Glenn Murray escapes his marker and plays in Anthony Knockaert, but David Marshall is out sharply to smother.

Derby build up precisely inside the Forest half but Nathan Byrne's ball forward goes through to Brice Samba in the Reds goal.

He punts it out quickly looking to get the visitors on the front foot but it's lost quickly.

Chris Hughton will be concerned his side cannot make the ball stick, and Derby keep coming forward with growing menace.

Jason Knight turns the ball over the top after a scramble following a corner and Derby pass up another chance.

Brice Samba wasn't happy, felt he was held as he beat the cross away, at Cyrus Christie, and the kind bounce was not finished off by Knight.

Derby are the better side right now.

Derby switch the play to the left and Lee Buchanan comes inside his man but it's blocked.

Graeme Shinnie rattles the half-volley at Brice Samba who beats it away and then the shot from Martyn Waghorn is blocked by Yuri Ribeiro.

Does he handle? Ref says no.
