QPR have raced up the Championship table of late thanks to their fine form under Mark Warburton.

The R's come into their trip to Preston with four straight wins under their belt and Warburton has only lost one of his past seven games against Preston.

Preston meanwhile, have a less than exemplary record at Deepdale, losing nine home games so far this season.

The Lilywhites have won just once in their past six games. Can they pick up a valuable three points against one of the division's form sides?

    Swansea 0-0 Coventry

Jamal Lowe has a sight of goal for Swansea but the striker snatches at his effort and it goes wide.

He was running onto the ball and should've done better.

On the positive side, Yan Dhanda and Andre Ayew played two lovely passes in the build-up.

The Bluebirds are looking to win four consecutive away league games for the first time in eight years but they've lost on five of their past six visits to the Vitality Stadium.

    Barnsley 1-0 Stoke

Stoke are piling the pressure on against Barnsley as they chase a quick equaliser at Oakwell.

Jon Obi Mikel has volleyed over the bar from long range before Alex Mowatt also tries his luck from distance at the other end, but Potters keeper Angus Gunn is on hand to make the save.

  5. goal

GOAL: Brentford 1-0 Sheff Wedpublished at 19:24 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2021

    Bryan Mbeumo (24 mins)

This is a very un-Brentford like goal but it's exactly what they need to get out of this sticky patch.

A long throw is not dealt with by Wednesday, who have a couple opportunities to clear, and Sergi Canos' wild shot is diverted into the goal by the head of Bryan Mbeumo.

A tad fortunate but the hosts will take it all day long.

It's been a fairly quiet opening 20 minutes at the Liberty Stadium.

There was a stoppage as Swansea skipper Matt Grimes went out with what seemed to be a shoulder problem, but he's OK to continue.

What have Stoke got in response to that worldie of a strike from Callum Styles as they trail Barnsley?

Well ex-Wolves defender Danny Batth has just headed over the bar from Tommy Smith's inswinging cross into the box.

Out-of-form takes on in-form tonight as Blackburn welcome Watford to Ewood Park, looking to end their losing four-game run.

Should Tony Mowbray's side lose again this evening, it will be the first time they have suffered five straight defeats since April 2012 - when they were relegated from the Premier League.

Watford, meanwhile, have won three on the bounce and have kept clean sheets in their past three matches on their travels.

The last time they made it four in a row? December 2001.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 19:13 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2021

    Swansea 0-0 Coventry

Coventry midfielder Callum O'Hare goes down in the penalty box and it looks like he may have had his heels clipped by Swansea's Matt Grimes.

There didn't look a lot in it to be honest but the Sky Blues are adamant. The referee isn't so sure and lets play continue.

Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo tries a spectacular volley from the edge of the box but it flies over after a lovely ball over the top from Saman Ghoddos.

A very difficult technique to execute.

    Callum Styles (9 mins)

OOF! What a way to take the lead!

Barnsley get off the mark and in some fashion! It all comes from a corner which Stoke fail to clear and Callum Styles, who's initially deep in midfield, races onto it and unleashes a rocket of a left-foot strike into the bottom right corner.

He's fired that from well outside the box too. What a strike.

Now this is a tough one to read.

Fourth-placed Swansea saw their eight-game unbeaten run ended emphatically at Huddersfield on Saturday, while strugglers Coventry upset the odds to beat Brentford and earn their first victory in six.

The stats don't make pretty reading for the Sky Blues, though - no wins in 10 league games with Swansea, no league win in Wales since 2007 and no league victory at Swansea since 1950.

Steve Cooper's Swans have also conceded just three goals in their last 12 home matces.

Everything was going so well for Brentford but three defeats in a row means their previous 21-game unbeaten league run feels a long time ago.

Thomas Frank's side remain second on goal difference but are now 10 points behind leaders Norwich - and they're looking to avoid consecutive home league defeats for the first time since December 2018.

Second-bottom Sheffield Wednesday, meanwhile, suffered a chastening defeat by relegation rivals Birmingham on Saturday and have just five points from their past 12 away Championship matches.

  19. Barnsley and Stoke aiming for turnaroundpublished at 18:51 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2021

    Barnsley v Stoke (19:00 GMT)

Barnsley take on a Stoke side this evening who've experienced a sea change in their on-the-road form.

Despite keeping six consecutive clean sheets on their travels recently, the Potters have conceded in each of their past four away games.

That being said, Barnsley welcome their opponents knowing they do not have a record to write home about.

The Tykes are winless in their past five games in the league against Stoke, stretching back to their most recent defeat - 14 years ago this month.
