    Odsonne Edouard

Celtic have been second best, but haul themselves level with a well-worked goal.

Callum McGregor bursts into the box and squares for Edouard, whose slightly scuffed finish finds the far corner of the net.

Even Alex Dyer surely can't quite believe his luck here?

Rory McKenzie's cross from the left is volleyed towards goal by Nicke Kabamba, but it falls perfectly into the path of Tshibola who pokes home a second.

St Mirren threaten a second as Kristian Dennis takes down a Jamie McGrath cross at the back post, spins and shoots straight at Scott Bain.

The visitors have a spring in their step, while Celtic have offered precious little.

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

This has been a thrilling game to far and this time Livingston are inches away from taking the lead.

A cross from the left is dummied by Scott Robinson and heads towards Scott Pittman at the back post. He has to stretch to steer the ball towards goal though and keeper Joe Lewis is able to scramble back to deny him on the line.

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

    What a miss!

Aberdeen cut Livingston open and Connor McLennan rolls the ball into the path of an unmarked Jonny Hayes, who just has the goalkeeper to beat.

He has time and space to take a touch before attempting a shot, but tries to scoop it over the goalkeeper first time and the ball sails too high.

    Darren McGregor

Darren McGregor was in the news in midweek, being cleared for an alleged stamp against Rangers, but the centre-half is in the spotlight for the right reasons with a sublime finish.

Benjamin Siegrist beats the ball off the line from Paul McGinn's downward header at a corner, Jackson Irvine plays it back for McGregor and a thumping drive powers past the United goalkeeper.

    Unstoppable.

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen's Connor McLennan slips between two defenders and squeezes in a header from close range. It hits the bar and bounces down, with a few Aberdeen players making half-hearted pleas that it has gone over the line...

  12. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2021

    Livingston 0-0 Aberdeen

Livingston fire an early warning as a through ball reaches Julien Serrano, who puts an excellent finish past Joe Lewis, but the goal is ruled out for offside.

The early story of this game appears to be Livingston bossing possession and Aberdeen trying to hit them at pace on the counter.

What a goal that would've been!

Moments later, Jamie McGrath lets fly from similar range and it's again straight into the keeper's midriff.

    Martin Dowden

It is the perfect start for the hosts and it was an excellent goal to kick this key contest off.

Nicke Kabamba laid the ball into the path of Chris Burke and he did the rest. He drove into the box, dinked one way then the other and when the space appeared, he drilled it perfectly low into the far corner.

It was St Johnstone though who maybe should have opened the scoring when Ali McCann made room for a shot which Rogers did well to keep out.

    Lively stuff on show here.

So close to the opener for United.

Calum Butcher picks the ball up 25 yards from goal and the midfielder's drive takes a deflection off the heel of Josh Doig and looks to be looping over Ofir Marciano only for the goalkeeper to rise at full stretch to tip over the crossbar.
