He has time and space to take a touch before attempting a shot, but tries to scoop it over the goalkeeper first time and the ball sails too high.

Darren McGregor was in the news in midweek, being cleared for an alleged stamp against Rangers, but the centre-half is in the spotlight for the right reasons with a sublime finish.
Benjamin Siegrist beats the ball off the line from Paul McGinn's downward header at a corner, Jackson Irvine plays it back for McGregor and a thumping drive powers past the United goalkeeper.

It is the perfect start for the hosts and it was an excellent goal to kick this key contest off.
Nicke Kabamba laid the ball into the path of Chris Burke and he did the rest. He drove into the box, dinked one way then the other and when the space appeared, he drilled it perfectly low into the far corner.
It was St Johnstone though who maybe should have opened the scoring when Ali McCann made room for a shot which Rogers did well to keep out.
