Livingston are in dreamland. It would be a brave man who would bet against them winning this one and extending their unbeaten run to 14 games.

They have harried Aberdeen all night, not given them a minute's peace.

The Dons have been as bad as the weather. The only good thing from their point of view after a 45 minutes to forget was the half time whistle. It is hard to see any way back for the hosts.

Livingston are half way to a victory that will take them to within five points of hosts Aberdeen.

David Martindale's side have not had to be terribly good as Aberdeen have disintegrated in that first 45 minutes.

Dons captain Joe Lewis handed them the lead by fumbling a Julien Serrano cross into his own net before Nicky Devlin was given a free header for the second.

Aberdeen have also lost the influential Ryan Hedges and defender Ash Taylor to injury and you don't see them coming back from this.

It's hardly been a classic in Paisley as Jim Goodwin's men go into half-time a man down.

The hosts were comfortable, but St Mirren goalkeeper Jak Alnwick's red card for a clattering challenge on Martin Boyle when the Hibs man was through on goal has changed the dynamic of this one.

Aberdeen 0-2 Livingston

The night goes from bad to worse for Aberdeen as Ash Taylor goes down injured clearing his lines.

Derek McInnes lost Ryan Hedges to injury earlier and now midfielder Dean Campbell replaces the centre-back.

Meanwhile, deadline day signing from St Johnstone Callum Hendry also takes Connor McLennan's place up front.

St Mirren lose their goalkeeper to a red card.

Martin Boyle latches on to a poor back pass before knocking the ball by the onrushing Jak Alnwick as the Englishman charges out his box.

But he clatters into the Australia winger, leaving the referee no choice but to send Alnwick off.

Substitute Dean Lyness comes on for striker Kristian Dennis as Jim Goodwin reshuffles the pack.

The visitors scream for a penalty as Chris Cadden goes down under a challenge from former Motherwell team-mate Richard Tait.

The St Mirren full-back has a hand on the Hibs winger's back, but it would have been a very soft award.

Fair to say it's been a half hour to forget in Pailsey.

The game hasn't been short of endeavour, but still there have been no shots on target as we head towards half-time.

The winger recovers after a bit of treatment fortunately.

Joe Lewis is having a nightmare.

The Aberdeen goalkeeper makes a mess of trying to punch clear a Julien Serrano free-kick, it falls to Aaron Taylor-Sinclair and Lewis breathes a sigh of relief as the strike is blocked in front of goal.

Aberdeen direct an effort on target at last.

Lewis Ferguson's looping free-kick to the back post finds the head of Ash Taylor, but the centre-half's header is straight at goalkeeper Max Stryjek.

Aberdeen are looking rattled and Andrew Considine is the latest to give the ball away with a poor pass that is intercepted.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has a sight at goal and, as the Dons defence retreat nervously, the big striker flashes a low 20-yard drive just wide.

A pretty disastrous start to things for Aberdeen so far, a goalkeeping blunder, an injury to Ryan Hedges forcing him off and Nicky Devlin getting the freedom of Pittodrie to head in Livingston's second goal. Livvy will not care about that though. A dream start for them.

Yet again, St Mirren striker Kristian Dennis tries his luck as he drills a low 20-yard strike towards goal, but it's dragged wide.

Closer than his first effort though!

Wow! It is all going wrong for Aberdeen.

It all starts from another blunder from Joe Lewis after the goalkeeper fails to gather another cross the front post.

It comes out to Josh Mullin and the winger's fine cross finds Nicky Devlin in acres of space around the penalty spot and the defender heads it powerfully low into the corner.
