I owe the Burnley social media person an apology because the "administrative error" that saw Erik Pieters listed in the Clarets' initial team was not a typo but a selection mistake that could have had serious consequences.

The Burnley team was switched shortly before kick off after it was pointed out by a TV reporter that the full-back had been booked in the previous two rounds and was therefore suspended.

The match commentator for broadcasters BT Sport said their reporter had highlighted the situation to Burnley before the game.

Bournemouth have been good. It took a few minutes for the team to get into the game - both sides to get into the game - but once they found their feet they managed to get runners off the ball, create options and when they did, they were clinical and took the opportunity when they could.

Who is the Premier League side? Bournemouth ahead at the break and deservedly so.

Bournemouth have been prepared to take risks in this game. They have had the overlapping players, they have had players bombing on, had the space and creativity. It's something that Burnley need to address.

Just eight touches of the ball for Matej Vydra with Jay Rodriguez having only managed a couple more. The Burnley front two haven't been great but they've not had the service in fairness.

Sean Dyche will be glad to get his players in at half time and I wouldn't be surprised if there are changes. If he is keen for Burnley to keep going in the FA Cup then there's going to be a big improvement needed on this first-half showing.

Bournemouth have been well marshalled at the back thanks to Cameron Carter-Vickers and Steve Cook. Between them they have pretty much swept up everything. Burnley haven't caused them enough of a problem.
