Bournemouth have looked more confident since they scored. Not just on the ball but off the ball, too. They are pressing sharply, which gives the the opportunity to win the ball higher.

Diego Rico has space down the left. He works his way into the box but his cross is deflected behind for a Bournemouth corner.

A short corner is worked to Rico but his ball in is poor and the opportunity is gone for the visitors.

We're more than half an hour in and the home side haven't managed a shot on target yet.

Was anyone in for David Brooks during the January transfer window? Far too good for the Championship.

Junior Stanislas and David Brooks are having a field day here for Bournemouth. Stanislas is dropping deep on this left-hand side, cutting onto his right foot and it's buying him the time to get the vision to see that Brooks is in space. And he is. He's in so much space out there.

Burnley do indeed "turn" to get up the pitch quickly and force a corner. Asmir Begovic gets an unconvincing hand to the delivery but Jimmy Dunne nods the loose ball wide.

Paul Collins: If Bournemouth win I wouldn't class it as a shock. You could swap these two around in terms of the league they're in and you wouldn't know it was wrong way round if you did.

Sam Surridge gets in the way of Phil Billing just as the former Huddersfield midfielder was preparing to hammer a shot into the bottom corner.

All I ever hear from Sean Dyche is him shouting "turn", Burnley are going backwards far too often when they do have possession.

Sam Surridge has been very lively so far and fully deserved of his goal. He pressures Jimmy Dunne into putting the ball out for a Bournemouth throw by the corner flag but the visitors can't make the most of the positional advantage.

Right on cue for Sam Surridge! Bang on goal, bang on line. It's a great run by the overlapping full-back and an even more simple finish. That Burnley back four is narrow and when that space is there for David Brooks, Burnley can't get near him.

Eight changes does appear to have made Burnley look disjointed. They haven't found their rhythm at all yet.

Phil Billing has got the talent to finish that chance. It's on his favoured left foot, doesn't manage to pull it back enough. But with a man of his talent he was beyond Peacock-Farrell before he could react but it's past the post.

More good stuff from the Championship side as Phil Billing starts and finishes a quick attack. The ball is worked out to Sam Surridge who then feeds Billing but he swipes his first-time effort just wide.

Burnley are getting on one side of the pitch a bit too much. The temptation is to stay tight, stay narrow but with the overlapping full-backs, it gives Bournemouth a real opportunity.

Good stuff from Bournemouth again as Junior Stanislas stops the ball from going out for a throw and starts another Cherries attack. The ball is worked across to Jack Stacey on the right side of the pitch but Josh Benson stabs away the cross into the area.
