The dross is spreading. Aaron Wan-Bissaka now makes an ugly attempt at a clearance and lashes it back over his own head, it could drop in for a spectacularly bad own goal and Dean Henderson has to push it over the bar. Can West Ham claim that as an attempt on target?

It's a bit better from Donny van de Beek but it still feels like everything is taking a bit too long. You have to be careful not to try and think Van de Beek can do what Bruno Fernandes can do. He's his own type of player.

I think Van de Beek is still working out of what he is for Manchester United. I'd still like him to want the ball a bit more. Maybe have a shot instead of passing it back or passing it sideway. This United do not look for him, which is a bit of an issue.

West Ham have parked the bus a bit but there's not exactly been a wave of Manchester United pressure to repel. Just a rubbish game.

West Ham now have a counter and Pablo Fornals rather sums it up by keeping it too long and then playing a dog a ball to Declan Rice and it's cut out.

Manutdupdates: You begin to worry when Manchester United are playing like this. One through ball into the box they concede a cheap goal.

Someone just passes the ball clean out of play under no pressure and for absolutely no reason. This is awful.
