    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

    Micah Richards
Former Man City defender on BBC One

Barnsley have been so organised, brilliant to watch, squeezing up. Chelsea have been sloppy. It's been a great game for Barnsley so far.

Their set-up has been excellent so far - so organised.

  2. 'Chelsea not been up for the battle'published at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Newcastle and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

You have to imagine Chelsea will be a different side after the break. They have been very disappointing. They've not been up for the battle, not moved the ball quick enough, not enough options. Barnsley have been on the front foot and are right up for this.

  3. 'Barnsley should be ahead'published at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC One

Barnsley should be leading! High energy, they have swarmed them and their manager should be impressed. Chelsea have been poor - I said before if three of them are not at it, there will be a problem - four or five of them are not at it.

  4. 'A few Chelsea players haven't turned up'published at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Newcastle and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It could have been 2-0 to Barnsley going in at half-time. I have to say, I have been really impressed. It is whether they can sustain it? The subs might be key.

I'm looking at Thomas Tuchel and he is telling a few players to warm up. I'm not surprised. A few of the Chelsea players haven't turned up.

But I want to give Barnsley all the credit.

  5. 'I'm very disappointed'published at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

    Wolves 0-2 Southampton

    Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo speaking to BT Sport: "It was a tight game, tough, competitive with few spaces against a good side. In the second half, the way we conceded the first goal - I'm very disappointed with that, very disappointed.

"We are not producing enough. The final touch is not there and we are not clinical enough. We have problems in the final third of the pitch.

"It requires improvement. It requires better decisions and it is our job to improve our players. On Sunday we are going to face Southampton again and we need to give them a better fight."

  6. 'Absolutely deserved'published at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

    Wolves 0-2 Southampton

    Southampton

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl told BT Sport: "It was deserved, I think. We had a good performance today.

"It is a little bit easier when you have more alternatives from the bench and that gives us more chances to pick a strong side.

"Today we had a good side on the pitch and the guys did a good job. We still tried to be patient and find the gaps. The longer the game was going the more chances we had. We had the bigger chances so it was absolutely deserved."

Another corner, Kepa comes for this one this time and claims it well.

  10. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

No, they work it short to the near post, it's pulled back for Conor Chaplin and his shot across goal is inches away from being touched in by Victor Adeboyejo!

The hosts have a corner. Ping it under Kepa's chin?

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

Christian Pulisic was involved in the build up, a nice ball that he threaded through then he raced into the box but he could not quite get onto it.

  13. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea have had 72% of the ball but it doesn't really feel like that. Barnsley been just as dangerous, if not more so.

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

Better form Chelsea, who get it out wide. Callum Hudson-Odoi has acres and pings in a cross on the run, it's over the head of Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic arrives on it but can't steer it on goal. Difficult skill.

    Neil Johnston
    BBC Sport at Oakwell

A lovely spell of Barnsley possession has Chelsea on the back foot. Valerien Ismael claps his hands frantically and yells encouragement to his players. The Tykes boss likes what he is seeing.

  16. Should this have been a penalty?published at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2021

    You decide.

    Also, yes.

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

Good play from Barnsley, switching it from right to left quickly but first class defending from Alonso.

It's not been the start we were expecting from Chelsea - not dominating, and not really clicking.

  18. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Barnsley 0-0 Chelsea

Barnsley have had a good run of managers with a settled system and they're good to watch. After a shaky 10 minutes or so they are now once again piling pressure on the Chelsea backline.

The protocol is that VAR is only in operation in the FA Cup when the game is played at the home of a Premier League team...

Explain to me why if there is TV coverage, then why not VAR?

    Martin Keown

The risk for Barnsley is the quite high line. One decent ball over the top for Hudson-Odoi or Abraham and they could be in.
