Who's he replacing in the Treble-winning Giggs, Scholes, Keane, Beckham midfield?

Michael Reid: McTominay is becoming a fundamental player in the United midfield. Very box-to-box and chipping in with the goals this season.

Will Holmes, York: It's no wonder these united forwards look full of confidence. You can only imagine how many goals they bang in during training against Maguire and Lindelof. Have to be considered the best forward unit in the league IMO

Ben: You just get the feeling Fernandes believes he can score with every shot he takes.

GOAL - Man Utd 3-2 Evertonpublished at 70 mins

      Scott McTominay

Not sure about the goalkeeping on this one.

Luke Shaw swings in a free-kick from the left, the Everton backline is so deep and Scott McTominay rises between two defenders to flick a header into the far corner.

But Robin Olsen had his feet stuck in cement when trying to get to that, just could not reach it. If Jordan Pickford had conceded that - or the Bruno Fernandes one - he would be getting pelters left, right and centre.

Neither goalkeeper covering themselves in glory today.
