Has this return to management for Allardyce proven how out of touch he is with the modern game? West Brom could have given Eddie Howe a chance - young, talented and way more in touch with the game.

    James

Bilic: 7 points from 13. Allardyce: 5 points from 10. If they're being consistent, Big Sam may only have 3 games left.

Has it occurred to Kyle [13:25] that WBA players just aren't good enough. I'm not sure even I could get them out of this and I got Chorley to the PL on football manager!

Well Slaven Bilic might have. They've got worse haven't they?

Aleksander Pagels: Stop blaming Big Sam. This West Brom team are only slightly less awful than the Derby team of 07-08. No manager could have kept them up.

Apparently it's now -3C in London. It looks it too. West Brom send on new signing Okay Yokuslu who is wearing all the layers.

I've learned that you can never write these managers off forever Kyle. Someone will always hand them a (good) job.

Usual story then, show up for 1 half. It’s pathetic. What is Allardyce actually doing? Trying to get a record for most goals conceded? Record for least possession? Record for most squad changes between games? Least the dinosaur will be gone forever, you can thank us later everyone else

Tom McQuillin: Spurs have been great today. However we are at home against the worst team in the league. What is important is that we play this positive football in most of our games. This is how we should be playing all the time!

West Brom - look like Melchester Rovers, play like Tranmere Rovers!

Spurs' second goal today was the 3,000th top flight away goal conceded by West Brom. Not all of them have come this season.

Maybe it's not game over! West Brom have the ball in the net but the offside flag is up.

A warning for Spurs though. Robert Snodgrass' cross is a good one and Mbaye Diagne heads in, but he's clearly off.

    That probably is that!

West Brom commit numbers forward for the first real time and they are punished by a lethal counter-attack. Lucas Moura does the hard yards, carrying the ball from inside his own half and driving infield.

Son is flying up on the overlap, Lucas plays him in and he clumps a shot past Sam Johnstone and in.

Harry Kane has now scored 208 goals in 317 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham, making him the joint-second highest scorer in the club’s history alongside Bobby Smith (also 208 goals in 317 apps).

    What a quirk.

    Harry Kane (54 mins)

    Had to be!

Spurs have the breakthrough and of course it's Harry Kane. What a superb ball to find him. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg slides it through the eye of a needle to find the England captain, he's on the left of the penalty area, one touch to control and one to guide it past Sam Johnstone before he can really get set.
