As a Spurs fan I am torn. Obviously I want my team to win BUT if we lost our next two games and Jose got sacked we would be better off than we are now.

I do wish Jose hadn't won Manager of the Month in November. It was going so well until then.

Spurs force another corner. Can they find the opener before the half?

Almost! Serge Aurier is at the far post and heads across goal but Sam Johnstone makes an excellent one-handed stop!

There was a bit of chat that Tottenham would be hosting Liverpool's upcoming Champions League match but that is now going to Budapest.

Spurs have now had more touches in the opposition box (15) than they managed throughout the whole game with Chelsea (13) last time out. That's a start.

And that's good from Harry Kane again, finding a yard of space to wrap his foot around the ball and thump in a shot, Sam Johnstone right behind it to push it out.

Adam Kitchiner: good postive start by spurs for once. High tempo, pressing, forward passing. What we should see every week.

Michael Ball: As a Spurs fan, this reminds me of the recent Fulham game. Big misses when dominant and then dropping points later on.

The West Brom gameplan is working ok so far. Sam Johnstone has had to make one save.

How many football fans would take Mourinho as their new manager next season ? Not sure I'd want him managing my team. Has the special one lost his magic again!!

Tanguy Ndombele drives through the crowded midfield and finds Harry Kane but again his first touch isn't sharp enough and he loses the ball. Understandably a touch off the pace.

Serge Aurier is the outlet down the Spurs right but Karlan Grant tracks him all the way and makes a good block inside his own area.

Grant has been hurt by that. I wondered if he knew he'd be playing as a left wing-back when he was banging in the goals for Huddersfield.

I'm sure Gareth Bale would much prefer Spain's weather and games of golf rather than sitting on the bench at white hart lane in minus temperatures

Well we're 25 minutes in and we've had one shot on target. Patience needed for the hosts but they do need to lift it.

See if you can get Wales to a World Cup and then pack it in, that's what I would do. Funnily enough Gareth Bale has never asked me for career advice though.

The snow is coming down in a proper flurry now but it's yet to settle.

Gareth Bale has earned respect but he's way down the pecking order at Spurs. Why would Spurs keep him past this loan spell?

This is more like it from Spurs though, cutting through West Brom with ease now. Erik Lamela finds Harry Kane on the left of the box again, this time his shot is charged down but nearly falls for Lucas Moura at the far post and it's just about scrambled away.

    Rusty?

Harry Kane misses the target with a very good chance. Son helps the ball on around the corner, Kane looked like he could be offside but he was on, he's wide on the left of the area and pulls a shot across goal and off target.

    Not 100% sharp yet.

Very nearly the opener for Harry Kane! Serge Aurier gets clear down the right and pulls over a fine ball to pick out Kane on the edge of the area.

He rolls wide to sell the last defender and hits a left-footed shot which I thought clipped the bar on the way over but actually kissed the outside of the net/stanchion thing.

Not a bad effort, Serge Aurier cuts the ball back from the right to Erik Lamela, who engineers it onto his left foot and then floats a curler on to the roof of the net from 20-odd yards.
