I think it's stopped snowing in north London anyway, it's certainly cleared up where I am after a very brief flurry first thing this morning.

Harry Kane must have a good nap scheduled in so he can last the Super Bowl. I wonder how many wings he gets through in a post-match sitting?

Chaz: If losing means Mourinho getting sacked then I hope West Brom beat us 5-0.

7 weeks ago spurs were top of the league. Now 14 points off the pace. No way of sugar coating it, Jose has followed his usual pattern, players don't seem engaged under him. I don't think he has learnt any lessons and he'll be off by September - at latest.

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom have conceded 26 Premier League goals in nine matches under Sam Allardyce, as many as they did in 13 games under Slaven Bilic.

The record for most goals conceded in a manager’s first 10 Premier League games at a club is 28, jointly held by Danny Wilson at Barnsley (1997), Nigel Adkins at Southampton (2012) and Slavisa Jokanovic at Fulham (2018).

Is playing Harry Kane a gamble today? It feels like playing any player is a gamble at the moment with this horrific schedule.

I caught a bit of the Newcastle game yesterday and they were losing centre-halves at a rate of one every 10 minutes.

There's a round of FA Cup games squeezed in this midweek you know. Crazy.

Too early for Kane to play in my opinion. And with all respect to our opponents, we really should be good enough to have a plan B without him against West Brom.

OMG! What is that team that Sam has picked?! I hope he's seen something in training otherwise we are gone for five again…

West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone conceded his 50th Premier League goal in their 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United in his 21st appearance, the joint-quickest a goalkeeper has ever conceded 50 in the competition, along with Barnsley’s David Watson in 1997-98.

Ayo Bakare: Hope Kane playing today isn’t a risk that backfires. We need him for bigger games than this one

Llewelyn: On what planet does Lamela get in ahead of Bale? The world really is upside down.

Temi Kolarinwa: I think it's quite clear that Jose Mourinho is past it. We're seeing the same thing he did at United and that didn't turn out well at all. If we lose this game I think he's out by Monday.

Tottenham are looking to record their first league double over West Bromwich Albion since the 2011-12 season under manager Harry Redknapp.

Gareth Bale was in the side on that day but he's only on the bench again this afternoon.

Jose and his team got what they deserved against Chelsea: nothing.

It earned Mourinho an unwanted career first - never before had he lost consecutive home league games as a manager.

And it left him with an ominous recent record of only three wins from the past 12 league games, the same sequence that saw his hugely popular predecessor Mauricio Pochettino sacked. While no-one is suggesting crisis point has been reached, these are troubled times for Mourinho.

    Premier League

It doesn't feel more than five minutes since Spurs were top of the league and the phrase 'A Mourinho masterclass' was being banded around again.

But three defeats in a row have taken their toll on morale and league position, it seems.

Both are in need of a Sunday morning boost...
