  1. 'We can't rely on VAR decisions' - Maguirepublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

FT: West Brom 1-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, speaking to Sky Sports: "We created a lot of chances - enough to win the game.

"It was tough for ourselves with the goal we conceded - for us it was a foul.

"We played the game in their half. We can do more and improve but it's disappointing. It was a tough job against a team that defends deep.

"In the second half we played with a great tempo.

"We were so certain it was a penalty. Not sure why they needed to send him [the referee] to a monitor. The clip was minimal but it was a penalty. It seems like the decisions are going against us.

"We can't be relying on VAR decisions - we have to improve.

Whether they're still in the title race: "Of course we are. We have to go again and win the next one and then the next one."

Man Utd dominated the game in terms of possession but in terms of outright chances West Brom will be kicking themselves. They had some great chances to win the game.

In the end I suppose it was a fair result.
